Collection folder for collecting file submissions
Abstract
A content management system for collecting files from one or more submitters in a collection folder. A collector, who generates the collection folder, can invite one or more submitters to submit one or more files to the collection folder. Facial recognition is applied to the submitted files. The one or more submitters have limited rights to the collection folder. The limited rights can include uploading rights and prohibiting a submitter from viewing files that other submitters associated with the collection folder submitted. Thus, the collection folder is able to store files from the one or more submitters, but prevent them from viewing other's submissions.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A computer implemented method comprising:
generating, by a content management system in connection with a content item collection request identifying a collection folder, a token for identifying one or more faces based on a facial recognition analysis against a first set of content items; distributing, by the content management system, the token with one or more metadata filter parameters to a submitter; receiving, by the content management system, at least one content item from the submitter based on performing facial recognition analysis at a client device of the submitter utilizing the token on a second set of content items associated with the submitter to identify at least one face of the one or more faces in the second set of content items according to the one or more metadata filter parameters; and storing, by the content management system, the at least one content item from the submitter in the collection folder.
2 . The computer implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:
generating, by the content management system for the first set of content items, an additional token for identifying an object based on an object detection analysis of the first set of content items; distributing, by the content management system, the additional token to the submitter; and receiving, by the content management system, a content item from the submitter in response to performing object recognition analysis at the client device of the submitter utilizing the additional token on the second set of content items associated with the submitter to identify the object in the second set of content items.
3 . The computer implemented method of claim 1 , wherein distributing the token with the one or more metadata filter parameters comprises determining the one or more metadata filter parameters for identifying content items comprising the one or more faces in connection with an event from the second set of content items.
4 . The computer implemented method of claim 3 , wherein determining the one or more metadata filter parameters comprises determining a date filter, a time filter, a location filter, or a season filter.
5 . The computer implemented method of claim 3 , wherein receiving the at least one content item from the submitter comprises receiving the at least one content item with metadata corresponding to the event.
6 . The computer implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:
determining, by the content management system based on a selection of one or more selectable options, one or more customized triggers associated with the collection folder; and in response to detecting a trigger of the one or more customized triggers in message content generated based on a user input, generating, by the content management system, a prompt to create the content item collection request and a link to the collection folder to provide to the submitter.
7 . The computer implemented method of claim 6 , wherein generating the prompt comprises:
modifying the message content to include text indicating a request to submit a content item to the collection folder; and inserting the link to the collection folder into the message content.
8 . The computer implemented method of claim 1 , wherein distributing the token with the one or more metadata filter parameters to the submitter comprises providing a communication to the submitter that references the token and comprises a selectable option to execute the token.
9 . The computer implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:
detecting, by the content management system, a face of an additional submitter within the at least one content item from the submitter; and generating, by the content management system, a communication to the additional submitter including a notification that the face of the additional submitter was detected within the at least one content item from the submitter.
10 . The computer implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving, by the content management system, one or more tags from the submitter identifying one or more additional faces within the second set of content items; updating, by the content management system, the token to identify the one or more additional faces based on a facial recognition analysis of the second set of content items and based on the one or more tags; and providing, by the content management system to a collector associated with the collection folder, a notification of the one or more tags received from the submitter.
11 . A system comprising:
at least one processor; and a computer-readable storage medium storing instructions thereon that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to:
generate, in connection with a content item collection request identifying a collection folder, a token trained to identify one or more faces via a facial recognition analysis against a first set of content items;
distribute the token with one or more metadata filter parameters to a submitter;
receive at least one content item from the submitter based on performing facial recognition analysis at a client device of the submitter utilizing the token on a second set of content items according to the one or more metadata filter parameters; and
store the at least one content item from the submitter in the collection folder.
12 . The system of claim 11 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to:
provide, for display on a client device of a collector associated with the collection folder, a user interface comprising a menu of selectable options for customizing metadata filter parameters associated with the token; and determine the one or more metadata filter parameters in response to one or more interactions with one or more selectable options from the menu of selectable options.
13 . The system of claim 12 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to determine the one or more metadata filter parameters by determining a date filter, a time filter, or a location filter in response to the one or more interactions.
14 . The system of claim 13 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to receive the at least one content item from the submitter based on the at least one content item comprising the one or more faces based on the token and metadata corresponding to a date, a time, or a location based on the date filter, the time filter, or the location filter.
15 . The system of claim 11 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to:
generate an additional token trained to identify the one or more faces via the facial recognition analysis against the first set of content items; and distribute the additional token to the submitter without the one or more metadata filter parameters.
16 . The system of claim 11 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to:
generate an additional token trained to identify one or more objects based on an object recognition analysis of the first set of content items; and distribute the additional token to the submitter to obtain one or more additional content items comprising the one or more objects utilizing the additional token.
17 . A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising instructions thereon that, when executed by at least one processor, cause a computer system to:
receive, from a collector in connection with a content item collection request identifying a collection folder, a token trained to identify one or more faces based on a facial recognition analysis against a first set of content items and one or more metadata filter parameters; executing the token to perform facial recognition analysis on a second set of content items associated with a submitter to identify at least one content item comprising at least one face of the one or more faces in the second set of content items according to the one or more metadata filter parameters; and in response to identifying the at least one content item comprising the at least one face, uploading the at least one content item to the collection folder for storage in the collection folder.
18 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 17 , further comprising instructions thereon that, when executed by at least one processor, cause a computer system to:
provide, for display on a client device of the submitter, a communication referencing the token and a selectable option to execute the token; and executing the token in response to an interaction with the selectable option to execute the token.
19 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 17 , further comprising instructions thereon that, when executed by at least one processor, cause a computer system to execute the token by:
executing facial recognition software on a client device of the submitter to identify the one or more faces in the second set of content items according to the one or more metadata filter parameters; and providing, for display on the client device of the submitter, an option to upload the at least one content item to the collection folder based on the at least one content item comprising the at least one face of the one or more faces.
