Abstract

An adjustment device of a grinding machine contains: a grinding unit and a tool fixing unit. The grinding unit includes a first guide rail and a second guide rail. The tool fixing unit includes a horizontal rotation mechanism, a locating portion, a third guide rail, a fourth guide rail, and a fifth guide rail. The locating portion is cylindrical, parallel to a second XY plane, and has a rotation axis defined on a center of the locating portion, such that the locating portion rotates along the rotation axis and a tool is positioned on the locating portion to rotatably grind the workpiece at different angles.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . An adjustment device of a grinding machine comprising: a first system and a second system;
 wherein the first system is a grinding unit, and the second system is a tool fixing unit, wherein the grinding unit and the tool fixing unit are mounted on a base of the grinding machine; wherein the grinding unit includes a first guide rail and a second guide rail on which the grinding unit is driven to move in a first X-axis direction and a first Y-axis direction of the base; and wherein the tool fixing unit includes a horizontal rotation mechanism mounted on the base parallel to a first XY plane, a locating portion, a third guide rail arranged on a rotation disc of the horizontal rotation mechanism and configured to move the tool fixing unit in a second X-axis direction of the base, a fourth guide rail arranged above the third guide rail and configured to move the tool fixing unit in a second Y-axis direction of the base, and a fifth guide rail arranged above the fourth guide rail and configured to move the tool fixing unit in a Z-axis direction of the base, wherein the locating portion is cylindrical, parallel to a second XY plane, and has a rotation axis defined on a center of the locating portion, such that the locating portion rotates along the rotation axis and a tool is positioned on the locating portion to rotatably grind the workpiece at different angles.

         2 . The adjustment device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the grinding unit includes multiple first grind wheels horizontally arranged thereon and multiple second grind wheels vertically arranged on the grinding unit.

         3 . The adjustment device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the rotation disc has a central axis defined on a center thereof, when the tool of the locating portion is changeably moved to different horizontal angles, the rotation disc of the horizontal rotation mechanism is driven to revolve along the central axis so that the locating portion is positioned at a desired angle after rotating vertically parallel to a Z axis along the central axis of the rotation disc.

         4 . The adjustment device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein when the tool of the locating portion is adjustably moved to a desired height in the Z-axis direction of the base, the locating portion is driven to move on the fifth guide rail of the tool fixing unit.
