A weight adjustable dumbbell, which includes a connecting bar and a supporting base. Two sides of the supporting base are has a receiving groove, respectively. A plurality of dumbbell plates opposite to each other are located in the receiving grooves along an axial direction, a notch is located on each of the dumbbell plates for inserting the connecting bar, a slot opposite to the connecting bar is defined on an inner wall of the notch, fasteners opposite to the dumbbell plates are set on the connecting bar along the axial direction, the fasteners at an end of the connecting bar are arranged spirally along the axial direction at equal angles. The plurality of fasteners can connect to the slot of the dumbbell plates sequentially by rotating the connecting bar, and the dumbbell plates are detachably connected to limiting parts that can limit the rotation of the connecting bar.

A weight adjustable dumbbell, comprising a connecting bar and a supporting base, wherein two sides of a top surface of the supporting base are defined with a receiving groove, respectively, a plurality of dumbbell plates opposite to each other are provided in the receiving grooves along an axial direction, a notch is defined on each of the dumbbell plates capable to inserting the connecting bar, a slot opposite to the connecting bar is defined on an inner wall of the notch, a plurality of fasteners opposite to the dumbbell plates are provided on the connecting bar along the axial direction, the fasteners at an end of the connecting bar are arranged spirally along the axial direction, and are arranged at equal angles about the axis of the connecting bar, the plurality of fasteners are capable of connecting to the slot of the dumbbell plates sequentially via rotating the connecting bar, and the dumbbell plates are detachably connected to limiting parts capable of limiting the rotation of the connecting bar.

The dumbbell according to claim 1 , wherein the notch has a shape of stripe, and the notch is extending to a center of the dumbbell plate, notches of the dumbbell plates of the same side are aligned with each other, a cross-sectional shape of the notch perpendicular to the dumbbell plate is arc shaped, the slot has an arc shaped opening facing to the notch, and an arc of the slot has a radius of curvature as same as the radius of the connecting bar, and the axis of the connecting bar is arranged co-axially with the inner circumferential surface of the slot, each of the fasteners comprises a flat groove defined at a outer circumferential surface of the connecting bar, the flat groove is extending along the axis of the connecting bar to an end surface facing a middle part of the connecting bar of a dumbbell plate nearest to the middle part of the connecting bar, the flat grooves of fasteners at the same end are in communication with each other, the outer circumferential surface of the connecting bar facing the dumbbell plates forms connecting parts with openings of the flat grooves, the connecting parts are capable of fastening to the slots, and the connecting parts of the connecting bar depart from the inner walls of the slots while the flat grooves are facing the slots.

The dumbbell according to claim 2 , wherein an angle of two ends of the slot along the arc direction with respect to the center thereof is equal to an angle of two edges of the flat groove along the circumferential direction of the connecting bar about the axis thereof, and a product of the angle of two edges of the flat groove along the circumferential direction of the connecting bar about the axis thereof and a number of the dumbbell plates at the same side is less than 360 degree.

The dumbbell according to claim 2 , wherein the slots facing each other of the dumbbell plates at the same side forms a inserting groove, both ends of the connecting bar are rotatably connected to a hollow inserting plate inserted to inserting groove, a thin wall of the hollow inserting plate has elasticity and toughness, all of the flat grooves at the same side of the connecting bar are provided in the hollow inserting plate, and a stopper detachably connected to the supporting base is provided on the hollow inserting plate.
5 . The dumbbell according to claim 4 , wherein both axial end of the hollow inserting plate along the connecting bar are connected to a hollow cover, and the connecting bar is rotatably connected to the hollow covers.

The dumbbell according to claim 4 , wherein the stopper comprises a limiting disk connected to the hollow inserting plate, a plurality of limiting notches are defined on a peripheral of the limiting disk, and a positioning block capable of inserting into the positioning notches is extruded from the top surface of the supporting base.

The dumbbell according to claim 4 , wherein a mounting groove is defined on the end surface of the hollow inserting plate away from the inserting groove, a plurality of through holes corresponding to the dumbbell plates are defined on an inner bottom surface of the mounting groove, a main magnet plate is fixed to the inner bottom surface of the mounting groove, and a plurality of straight holes corresponding to the plurality of through holes are extended through the main magnet plate; the limiting part comprises a mounting plate inserting to the mounting groove, and a plurality of connecting grooves corresponding to the through holes are defined on an end face of the mounting plate facing the inner bottom surface of the mounting groove, the end face of the mounting plate facing the inner bottom surface of the mounting groove is fixed to a sub magnet plate, a plurality of through grooves corresponding to the connecting grooves are extended through the sub magnet plate, a spring is fixed on the inner bottom surface of each of the connecting grooves, and an abutting block is fixed to an end of the spring away from the mounting plate, and the abutting block and the spring are both extending through the straight hole and the through hole; the abutting block is firmly abutted to at least one of the flat grooves via the spring while the connecting bar is fastened into the slots via the connecting parts.

The dumbbell according to claim 7 , wherein a plurality of threaded holes in communication with the plurality of connecting grooves are extending through the mounting plate, each of the threaded holes is connected with a threaded rod, and the threaded rod is extending through the spring and abuts to the abutting block.

The dumbbell according to claim 1 , a plurality of separating grooves capable of inserting the dumbbell plates are defined on the receiving groove of the supporting base arranged along the axial direction, a peripheral surface of each of dumbbell plates is provided with a section, and the dumbbell plates abut to an inner bottom surface of each of the separating grooves via the sections.
10 . A method of using a dumbbell according to the dumbbell according to claim 1 , comprising:
step 1: placing the plurality of dumbbell plates into the separating grooves of the supporting base, abutting to the inner bottom surface of the separating grooves via the sections of the dumbbell plates, the notches are all upward placed, and all of the slots of the adjacent dumbbell plates are aligned with each other, then inserting the hollow inserting plates on both ends of the connecting bar into the inserting groove formed by the slots of the plurality of dumbbell plates at the same side, at the same time, inserting positioning blocks of the supporting base into the limiting notches of the limiting disk; step 2: remaining the hollow inserting plate, the dumbbell plates, and the supporting base in a relatively stable state, then rotating the connecting bar, such that the plurality of connecting parts sequentially inserting into the thin walls of the hollow inserting plate and fastening into the slots, then stop rotating the connecting bar if the required number of the fastened dumbbell plates is reached; and step 3: inserting the plurality of abutting blocks and the springs into the through holes, and the sub magnet plate of the mounting plate is attaching to the main magnet plate in the inner bottom surface of the mounting groove, wherein the abutting blocks at one end of the connecting bar firmly abut to at least one flat grooves via the springs, then connecting the threaded rods to the threaded holes, the threaded rods abutting to the abutting blocks after extending the springs, thereby limiting the movement of the abutting blocks.Cited by (0)
