Abstract

A machine implemented method and system, including: transmitting one or more credentials of a user account from a user device to an exercise management system (EMS) having a processor and one or more sensors, where the EMS is disposed on an exercise equipment disposed in a selected at least one fitness center and the exercise equipment is part of a selected at least one exercise plan; transmitting the one or more credentials of the user account from the EMS to a cloud server having a processor; transmitting the selected at least one exercise plan for the new user account from the cloud server to the EMS; transmitting an exercise equipment information from the EMS; forming a user exercise data by the EMS for the exercise equipment based on data received from the one or more sensors; and transmitting an exercise feedback from the EMS.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . An Exercise Management System (EMS) comprising:
an electronics box; a barcode reader disposed on the electronics box, wherein the barcode reader is configured to read one or more barcodes on one or more stacked weights; a weight pin connected to the electronics box, wherein the weight pin is configured to be inserted into a weight of the one or more stacked weights through a hole in the weight, and wherein the barcode reader is aligned with the one or more barcodes of the weight when the weight pin is inserted into the weight; and a processor disposed in the electronics box and in communication with the barcode reader, the processor having memory and configured to:
 capture an image of the one or more barcodes of the weight from the barcode reader;
determine a weight lifted on an exercise equipment based on the captured image of the one or more barcodes of the weight; and
determine a movement of the weight lifted on the exercise equipment based on a measured motion of one or more motion sensors.

2 . The EMS of claim 1 , wherein the barcode reader comprises an optical scanner.

3 . The EMS of claim 2 , wherein the optical scanner comprises a light source, a lens, and a light sensor for translating optical impulses into electrical signals.

4 . The EMS of claim 1 , wherein the barcode reader comprises decoder circuitry.

5 . The EMS of claim 4 , wherein the decoder circuitry is configured to analyze image data from a sensor of the barcode reader.

6 . The EMS of claim 5 , wherein the decoder circuitry is further configured to output a signal relating to the image data.

7 . The EMS of claim 1 , wherein the barcode reader comprises an optical character recognition to analyze image data from a sensor of the barcode reader and output a signal relating to the image data.

8 . The EMS of claim 1 , wherein the barcode reader comprises a pattern recognition to analyze image data from a sensor of the barcode reader and output a signal relating to the image data.

9 . The EMS of claim 1 , wherein the barcode reader comprises a machine learning to analyze image data from a sensor of the barcode reader and output a signal relating to the image data.

10 . The EMS of claim 1 , wherein the one or more barcodes comprise a barcode.

11 . The EMS of claim 1 , wherein the one or more barcodes comprise a Quick Response (QR) code.

12 . The EMS of claim 1 , wherein the one or more barcodes comprise a matrix barcode.

13 . The EMS of claim 1 , wherein the one or more barcodes comprise one or more polygons.

14 . The EMS of claim 1 , wherein the one or more barcodes comprise one or more text elements.

15 . The EMS of claim 1 , wherein the one or more barcodes comprise one or more symbols.

16 . The EMS of claim 1 , wherein the processor is configured to capture the image of the one or more barcodes of the weight from the barcode reader when the movement of the weight is determined.

17 . The EMS of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to:
determine a rotation angle Θ of the electronics box via an accelerometer in communication with the processor.

18 . The EMS of claim 17 , wherein the processor is further configured to:
correct the captured image of the one or more barcodes of the weight when the captured image is rotated at the rotation angle Θ.
