Abstract

A method of using a seed grind to grow plants.

A method of enhancing the early growth of plants comprising applying a seed grind to a seed in an amount to enhance growth of a seedling from the seed, wherein the seed grind is applied to a soil or hydroponic medium of the seed in an amount of 20 grams (g) of the seed grind per kilogram (kg) of the seed to 100,000 g of the seed grind per kg of the seed. 
     
     
         2 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein the seed grind is applied to the soil or hydroponic medium in an amount of 100 grams (g) of the seed grind per kilogram (kg) of the seed to 75,000 g of the seed grind per kg of the seed. 
     
     
         3 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein the seed grind is applied to the soil or hydroponic medium in an amount of 200 grams (g) of the seed grind per kilogram (kg) of the seed to 50,000 g of the seed grind per kg of the seed. 
     
     
         4 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprising applying a source of bicarbonate to the soil or hydroponic medium in an amount of 100 g of the source of bicarbonate per kg of the seed to 200,000 g of the source of bicarbonate per kg of the seed. 
     
     
         5 . The method according to  claim 2 , further comprising applying a source of bicarbonate to the soil or hydroponic medium in an amount of 500 g of the source of bicarbonate per kg of the seed to 150,000 g of the source of bicarbonate per kg of the seed. 
     
     
         6 . The method according to  claim 3 , further comprising applying a source of bicarbonate to the soil or hydroponic medium in an amount of 1000 g of the source of bicarbonate per kg of the seed to 110,000 g of the source of bicarbonate per kg of the seed. 
     
     
         7 . The method according to  claim 4 , wherein the source of bicarbonate is at least one of ammonium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate and potassium bicarbonate. 
     
     
         8 . The method according to  claim 5 , wherein the source of bicarbonate is at least one of ammonium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate and potassium bicarbonate. 
     
     
         9 . The method according to  claim 6 , wherein the source of bicarbonate is at least one of ammonium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate and potassium bicarbonate. 
     
     
         10 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein the seed are applied in a split application with a first portion applied before or when the seed is planted and a second portion later. 
     
     
         11 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein the seed is cotton seed, corn seed, rice seed, or wheat seed. 
     
     
         12 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein the ground seed is formed from cotton seed, corn seed, rice seed, or wheat seed. 
     
     
         13 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein the ground seed is formed from grinding a whole seed.

A method of enhancing the early growth of plants comprising applying a seed grind to a seed in an amount to enhance growth of a seedling from the seed, wherein the seed grind is applied to a soil or hydroponic medium of the seed in an amount of from 1 kilogram (kg) of the seed grind per hectare to 1,000 kg of the seed grind per hectare. 
     
     
         15 . The method according to  claim 14 , wherein the seed grind is applied to the soil or hydroponic medium in an amount of from 2 kilogram (kg) of the seed grind per hectare to 750 kg of the seed grind per hectare. 
     
     
         16 . The method according to  claim 14 , wherein the seed grind is applied to the soil or hydroponic medium in an amount of from 3 kilogram (kg) of the seed grind per hectare to 400 kg of the seed grind per hectare. 
     
     
         17 . The method according to  claim 14 , further comprising applying a source of bicarbonate to the soil or hydroponic medium in an amount of from 20 kilogram (kg) of the source of bicarbonate per hectare to 1,500 kg of the source of bicarbonate per hectare. 
     
     
         18 . The method according to  claim 15 , further comprising applying a source of bicarbonate to the soil or hydroponic medium in an amount of from 50 kilogram (kg) of the source of bicarbonate per hectare to 1,250 kg of the source of bicarbonate per hectare. 
     
     
         19 . The method according to  claim 16 , further comprising applying a source of bicarbonate to the soil or hydroponic medium in an amount of from 100 kilogram (kg) of the source of bicarbonate per hectare to 1,000 kg of the source of bicarbonate per hectare. 
     
     
         20 . The method according to  claim 17 , wherein the source of bicarbonate is at least one of ammonium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate and potassium bicarbonate. 
     
     
         21 . The method according to  claim 18 , wherein the source of bicarbonate is at least one of ammonium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate and potassium bicarbonate. 
     
     
         22 . The method according to  claim 19 , wherein the source of bicarbonate is at least one of ammonium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate and potassium bicarbonate. 
     
     
         23 . The method according to  claim 14 , wherein the seed are applied in a split application with a first portion applied before or when the seed is planted and a second portion later.

         28 . The method according to  claim 4 , wherein in the seed grind, source of bicarbonate and other components are added to the soil in the form of granules or tablets which will decompose at least 90% into carbon dioxide (CO2), biomass and water in a maximum of 48 months.

         30 . The method according to  claim 4 , wherein the bicarbonate is sodium bicarbonate.

         32 . The method according to  claim 4 , wherein the bicarbonate is at least two of potassium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate and ammonium bicarbonate.

         34 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprising applying a source of urea to the soil or hydroponic medium.

The method according to  claim 34 , further comprising applying the seed grind and urea to the soil or hydroponic medium of a seed or seedling of a plant grown from a seed in an amount from 100 g of the seed grind and 1000 g of urea per kg of the seed to 75,000 g of the seed grind and 20,000 g of urea per kg of the seed. 
     
     
         36 . The method according to  claim 35 , wherein the seed grind and urea are applied as a split application with a portion applied before or when the seed or seedling is planted and another portion applied later. 
     
     
         37 . The method according to  claim 33 , further comprising applying the seed grind and a source of sugar to the soil or hydroponic medium of a seed or seedling of a plant grown from a seed in an amount more preferably from 100 g of the seed grind and 100 g of the source of sugar per kg of the seed to 75,000 g of the seed grind and 75,000 g of the source of sugar per kg of the seed. 
     
     
         38 . The method according to  claim 37 , wherein the seed grind and source of sugar are applied as a split application with a portion applied before or when the seed or seedling is planted and another portion applied later.
