Abstract

The present invention provides anti-CD47 monoclonal antibodies and related compositions, which may be used in any of a variety of therapeutic and diagnostic methods for the treatment of cancer, ischemic-reperfusion injury, and other diseases.

A method of treating or preventing a disease or disorder associated with CD47 and/or SIRPα or aberrant expression thereof in a human subject in need thereof, the method comprising administrating to said subject a therapeutically effective amount of an anti-CD47 antibody, or an antigen-binding fragment thereof, comprising a) a heavy chain variable region comprising a VHCDR1, a VHCDR2, and a VHCDR3 and b) a light chain variable region comprising a VLCDR1, a VLCDR2, and a VLCDR3, wherein:

         29 . The method of  claim 16 , wherein the anti-CD47 antibody induces little to zero hemagglutination of human erythrocytes. 
     
     
         30 . The method of  claim 29 , wherein the anti-CD47 antibody induces zero hemagglutination of human erythrocytes.
