Treatment of cancer with tor kinase inhibitors

Abstract

Provided herein are methods for treating or preventing a solid tumor, non-Hodgkin lymphoma or multiple myeloma in a patient, comprising administering an effective amount of a TOR kinase inhibitor to a patient having a solid tumor, non-Hodgkin lymphoma or multiple myeloma.

         15 . A method for treating diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, comprising administering to a patient having diffuse large B-cell lymphoma an effective amount of a TOR kinase inhibitor,
 wherein the TOR kinase inhibitor is 7-(6-(2-hydroxypropan-2-yl)pyridin-3-yl)-1-(trans-4-methoxycyclohexyl)-3,4-dihydropyrazino[2,3-b]pyrazin-2(1H)-one or 1-ethyl-7-(2-methyl-6-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)pyridin-3-yl)-3,4-dihydropyrazino[2,3-b]pyrazin-2(1H)-one or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, stereoisomer or tautomer thereof.   
     
     
         16 . The method of  claim 15 , wherein the TOR kinase inhibitor is 7-(6-(2-hydroxypropan-2-yl)pyridin-3-yl)-1-(trans-4-methoxycyclohexyl)-3,4-dihydropyrazino[2,3-b]pyrazin-2(1H)-one or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, stereoisomer or tautomer thereof. 
     
     
         17 . The method of  claim 15 , wherein the TOR kinase inhibitor is 1-ethyl-7-(2-methyl-6-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)pyridin-3-yl)-3,4-dihydropyrazino[2,3-b]pyrazin-2(1H)-one or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, stereoisomer or tautomer thereof. 
     
     
         18 . A method for achieving complete remission, partial remission or stable disease, as determined by the International Workshop Criteria (IWC) for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma in a patient, comprising administering an effective amount of 7-(6-(2-hydroxypropan-2-yl)pyridin-3-yl)-1-(trans-4-methoxycyclohexyl)-3,4-dihydropyrazino[2,3-b]pyrazin-2(1H)-one or 1-ethyl-7-(2-methyl-6-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)pyridin-3-yl)-3,4-dihydropyrazino[2,3-b]pyrazin-2(1H)-one or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, stereoisomer or tautomer thereof to the patient having diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
