Abstract
Systems and methods for sterilizing an enclosed space using ozone are disclosed herein. Various embodiments of the devices and methods also provide for accelerated degradation of the ozone upon sterilization. The methods can include identifying enclosed spaces, sterilizing enclosed spaces through ozone generation, generating reports and transmitting the reports. The sterilization unit disclosed herein can sterilize a plurality of enclosed spaces, such as a fleet of medical response vehicles.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 .- 20 . (canceled)
21 . A method of sterilizing an enclosed space using ozone, the method comprising:
providing a portable sterilization unit, wherein the portable sterilization unit is configured to be positioned within an enclosed space, the portable sterilization unit comprising:
an ozone generator configured to ozonize air that enters the portable sterilization unit during an ozone generation cycle, and
an ozone degrader configured to remove ozone that enters the portable sterilization unit during an ozone degradation cycle;
wherein the portable sterilization unit comprises at least two different sterilization cycles based on run time of the ozone generation cycle or run time of the ozone degradation cycle, wherein the customer selects between at least two different sterilization cycles and the portable sterilization unit is configured to run at least one ozone generation cycle and at least one ozone degradation cycle based on the customer selection; collecting data from the portable sterilization unit, the data comprising a run time of the at least one ozone generation cycle based on the customer selection, a run time of the at least one ozone degradation cycle based on the customer selection, or a total run time of the at least one ozone generation cycle and the at least one ozone degradation cycle based on the customer selection; storing the data from the selected sterilization cycle; wherein the customer selects between at least two different sterilization cycles and the portable sterilization unit is configured to run at least another ozone generation cycle and at least another ozone degradation cycle based on the customer selection; generating a report comprising one or more parameters of different sterilization cycles, wherein the report display differences between one or more parameters associated with different sterilization cycles, wherein the different sterilization cycles occur on different dates or at different times.
22 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising aggregating data of two or more reports.
23 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the report based in part on the run time of the at least one ozone generation cycle, the at least one ozone degradation cycle, and/or the total run time of the at least one sterilization cycle.
24 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the portable sterilization unit generates alerts related to maintenance based on data.
25 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the one or more parameters are selected from the group consisting of: date, start time of the ozone generation cycle, end time of the ozone generation cycle, start time of the ozone degradation cycle, end time of the ozone degradation cycle, start time of the sterilization cycle, and end time of the sterilization cycle.
26 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising:
collecting ozone levels based on an ozone sensor located within the portable sterilization unit; and generating a report based in part on the ozone levels.
27 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the at least one ozone generation cycle continues for a specific amount of time or until a specific ozone concentration is reached within the enclosed space.
28 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the ozone generator is configured to produce a gas comprising ozonized air having a pre-determined peak ozone concentration.
29 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the portable sterilization unit is configured to be positioned within a second enclosed space, the second enclosed space being different than the first enclosed space.
30 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising transmitting the data to a database using a wireless connection.
31 . A method of sterilizing an enclosed space using ozone, the method comprising:
providing a portable sterilization unit, wherein the portable sterilization unit is configured to be positioned within an enclosed space, the portable sterilization unit comprising:
an ozone generator configured to ozonize air that enters the portable sterilization unit during an ozone generation cycle, and
an ozone degrader configured to remove ozone that enters the portable sterilization unit during an ozone degradation cycle;
wherein the portable sterilization unit is configured to run a first sterilization cycle comprising at least one ozone generation cycle and at least one ozone degradation cycle; collecting data from the first sterilization cycle, the data comprising a run time of the at least one ozone generation cycle, a run time of the at least one ozone degradation cycle, and/or a total run time of the first sterilization cycle; wherein the portable sterilization unit is configured to run a second sterilization cycle comprising at least one ozone generation cycle and at least one ozone degradation cycle; collecting data from the second sterilization cycle, the data comprising a run time of the at least one ozone generation cycle, a run time of the at least one ozone degradation cycle, and/or a total run time of the second sterilization cycle; aggregating data from the first sterilization cycle and the second sterilization cycle; and generating a report based in part on the aggregated data, the report comprises a display of differences between the first sterilization cycle and the second sterilization cycle.
32 . The method of claim 31 , wherein the portable sterilization unit generates alerts related to maintenance based on the aggregate data.
33 . The method of claim 31 , further comprising collecting least one parameter selected from the group consisting of: date, start time of the ozone generation cycle, end time of the ozone generation cycle, start time of the ozone degradation cycle, end time of the ozone degradation cycle, start time of the sterilization cycle, and end time of the sterilization cycle.
34 . The method of claim 31 , further comprising:
collecting ozone levels based on an ozone sensor located within the portable sterilization unit.
35 . The method of claim 31 , wherein the at least one ozone generation cycle continues for a specific amount of time or until a specific ozone concentration is reached within the enclosed space.
36 . The method of claim 31 , wherein the ozone generator is configured to produce a gas comprising ozonized air having a pre-determined peak ozone concentration.
37 . The method of claim 31 , wherein the portable sterilization unit is configured to be positioned within a second enclosed space, the second enclosed space being different than the first enclosed space.
38 . The method of claim 31 , further comprising transmitting the data to a database using a wireless connection.
39 . The method of claim 31 , wherein the first sterilization cycle and the second sterilization cycle have different run times of the ozone generation cycle.
40 . The method of claim 31 , wherein the first sterilization cycle and the second sterilization cycle have different peak ozone concentrations.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
