Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
.- 20 . (canceled)

. A method for treating or alleviating one or more symptoms of Corticobasal degeneration (CBD) in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering an aqueous formulation comprising a single active ingredient consisting of trehalose, and wherein the trehalose is present in an amount of about 9% to about 11% (w/w/).

. The method of claim 21 , wherein the aqueous formulation is administered once per day.

. The method of claim 21 , wherein the aqueous formulation is administered once per week.

. The method of claim 21 , wherein the aqueous formulation is administered once per month.

. The method of claim 22 , wherein the total amount of trehalose administered is about 5 grams to about 50 grams.

. The method of claim 23 , wherein the total amount of trehalose administered is about 5 grams to about 50 grams.

. The method of claim 24 , wherein the total amount of trehalose administered is about 5 grams to about 50 grams.

. A method for treating or alleviating one or more symptoms of Progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering an aqueous formulation comprising a single active ingredient consisting of trehalose, and wherein the trehalose is present in an amount of about 9% to about 11% (w/w/).

. The method of claim 28 , wherein the aqueous formulation is administered once per day.

. The method of claim 28 , wherein the aqueous formulation is administered once per week.

. The method of claim 28 , wherein the aqueous formulation is administered once per month.

. The method of claim 29 , wherein the total amount of trehalose administered is about 5 grams to about 50 grams.

. The method of claim 30 , wherein the total amount of trehalose administered is about 5 grams to about 50 grams.

. The method of claim 31 , wherein the total amount of trehalose administered is about 5 grams to about 50 grams.

. A method for treating or alleviating one or more symptoms of Frontotemporal dementia and parkinsonism linked to chromosome 17 (FTDP-17) in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering an aqueous formulation comprising a single active ingredient consisting of trehalose, and wherein the trehalose is present in an amount of about 9% to about 11% (w/w/).

. The method of claim 35 , wherein the aqueous formulation is administered once per day.

. The method of claim 35 , wherein the aqueous formulation is administered once per week.

. The method of claim 35 , wherein the aqueous formulation is administered once per month.

. The method of claim 36 , wherein the total amount of trehalose administered is about 5 grams to about 50 grams.

. The method of claim 37 , wherein the total amount of trehalose administered is about 5 grams to about 50 grams.
