Abstract
A removable gas separation cartridge includes a housing having an inlet port, an outlet port, and a bed of adsorbent material. The cartridge is removable from an oxygen concentrator which separates oxygen from ambient air by using an absorption process.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A system, comprising:
a portable oxygen concentrator, comprising: a housing, a separation cartridge including adsorbent material and selectively removable from the housing, a power pack, a pump electrically coupled to the power pack and operable to cause a flow of fluid to move relative to the adsorbent material, and a belt connecting the housing, the power pack, and the pump; and a docking station configured to support at least a portion of the portable oxygen concentrator and to facilitate charging of the power pack, wherein the docking station includes an upper surface having a contour corresponding to a curvature of the belt.
2 . The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein: the power pack is removable from the remainder of the portable oxygen concentrator, the docking station includes an opening configured to receive the power pack, and docking station is configured to charge the power pack when the power pack is in the opening.
3 . The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the docking station is configured to charge the power pack when the belt is placed on the upper surface.
4 . The system as recited in claim 3 , wherein the docking station is configured to charge the power pack without removing the power pack from a remainder of the portable oxygen concentrator.Cited by (0)
