Abstract

Automatic injection device includes a housing, a syringe, a plunger, and a syringe carrier. The housing includes a barrel between a first end and a second end. The barrel includes an elongated window to allow viewing of contents inside the housing. The syringe is disposed within the housing and has a reservoir. The plunger is at least partially disposed within the syringe and includes a visual indicator. The syringe carrier is disposed within the housing and configured to contain the syringe and displace the syringe within the housing between a first position and a second position. The syringe carrier can be substantially transparent. The syringe carrier can have first and second legs and an extension disposed therebetween, and at least a portion of the extension can be configured to align with the window and the reservoir when the syringe carrier is in the first position.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . (canceled)

2 . An automatic injection device comprising:
a housing having an aperture in a side wall; and a syringe carrier disposed within the housing and configured to displace a syringe along a longitudinal axis of the automatic injection device, the syringe carrier having a first aperture and a second aperture spaced apart and in longitudinal alignment to allow a user to view the syringe via the aperture in a pre-injection position, an injection position, and a post injection position.

3 . The automatic injection device of claim 2 , further comprising a plunger for expelling a liquid agent from the syringe.

4 . The automatic injection device of claim 2 , wherein the syringe carrier is configured to displace the syringe within the housing between the pre-injection position, the injection position, and the post injection position.

5 . The automatic injection device of claim 2 , wherein the syringe is at least partially viewable through the aperture of the housing and the first aperture of the syringe carrier when the syringe carrier is in the pre-injection position.

6 . The automatic injection device of claim 5 , wherein the syringe is at least partially viewable through the aperture of the housing and the second aperture of the syringe carrier when the syringe carrier is in the post-injection position.

7 . The automatic injection device of claim 2 , wherein the syringe carrier has a substantially tubular structure.

8 . The automatic injection device of claim 2 , wherein one or more of the aperture, the first aperture, or the second aperture is an elongated window.

9 . The automatic injection device of claim 2 , wherein the syringe carrier is configured to allow viewing of substantially all of a liquid agent held by the syringe.

10 . An automatic injection device comprising:
a housing having a first aperture to allow viewing of contents inside the housing; and a syringe carrier disposed within the housing and configured to envelope at least a distal half of a syringe having a reservoir, the syringe carrier having a second aperture and a third aperture alignable with the first aperture to allow viewing of the reservoir inside the syringe carrier, the syringe carrier is configured to move within the housing towards a first end of the housing during operation, and the housing is configured to limit movement of the syringe carrier beyond the first end.

11 . The automatic injection device of claim 10 , further comprising a plunger for expelling a liquid agent from the syringe.

12 . The automatic injection device of claim 10 , wherein the syringe carrier is configured to displace the syringe within the housing.

13 . The automatic injection device of claim 10 , wherein the syringe is at least partially viewable through the first aperture of the housing and the second aperture of the syringe carrier when the syringe carrier is in the pre-injection position.

14 . The automatic injection device of claim 13 , wherein the syringe is at least partially viewable through the first aperture of the housing and the third aperture of the syringe carrier when the syringe carrier is in the post-injection position.

15 . The automatic injection device of claim 10 , wherein the syringe carrier has a substantially tubular structure.

16 . The automatic injection device of claim 10 , wherein one or more of the first aperture, the second aperture, or the third aperture is an elongated window.

17 . The automatic injection device of claim 10 , wherein the syringe carrier is configured to allow viewing of substantially all of a liquid agent in the reservoir of the syringe.
