Medical system
Abstract
A medical system according to the present invention comprises: a medical device comprising an insertion part comprising an angulating part, and angulation wires attached to the angulating part; and an actuator, detachably connected to the medical device, that electrically actuates the angulation wires to angulate the angulating part. The angulation wires comprise a first angulation wire and a second angulation wire. When the medical device is not attached to the actuator, the first angulation wire and the second angulation wire are in a mechanically connected looped state. When the medical device is connected to the actuator, the first angulation wire and the second angulation wire are in a second state in which the two are independently electrically actuated.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A medical system comprising:
a medical device comprising an insertion portion comprising a joint and a wire attached to the joint; and a drive device that is detachably connected to the medical device and bends the joint by electrically driving the wire, wherein the wire comprises a first wire and a second wire, when the medical device is not attached to the drive device, the first wire and the second wire are in a first state in which the first wire and the second wire are mechanically connected, and when the medical device is attached to the drive device, the first wire and the second wire are in a second state in which the first wire and the second wire are electrically driven independently.
2 . The medical system according to claim 1 , wherein the first wire and the second wire are a pair of wires that bend the joint in two opposing directions.
3 . The medical system according to claim 2 , wherein
the medical device comprises an attachment or detachment portion that is attached to and detached from the drive device, the attachment or detachment portion comprises a switching mechanism, when the attachment or detachment portion is not attached to the drive device, the switching mechanism switches the first wire and the second wire to the first state, and when the attachment or detachment portion is attached to the drive device, the switching mechanism switches the first wire and the second wire to the second state.
4 . The medical system according to claim 3 , wherein
the attachment or detachment portion comprises a first rotating drum around which the first wire is wound, and a second rotating drum around which the second wire is wound, and the drive device to which the attachment or detachment portion is attached drives the first wire by rotating the first rotating drum, and drives the second wire by rotating the second rotating drum.
5 . The medical system according to claim 4 , wherein
by rotating the first rotating drum and the second rotating drum in conjunction with each other, the switching mechanism makes the first wire and the second wire into the first state, and by independently rotating the first rotating drum and the second rotating drum, the switching mechanism makes the first wire and the second wire in an second state.
6 . The medical system according to claim 5 , wherein
the switching mechanism comprising a gear, when the gear is in a first position, the gear connects the first rotating drum and the second rotating drum to be rotated in conjunction with each other, and when the gear is in a second position, the gear does not connect the first rotating drum and the second rotating drum.
7 . The medical system according to claim 6 , wherein
when the attachment or detachment portion is not attached to the drive device, the gear moves to the first position, and when the attachment or detachment portion is attached to the drive device, the gear moves to the second position by engaging with a part of the drive device.
8 . The medical system according to claim 7 , wherein
the attachment or detachment portion further comprises a spring, the gear is arranged in the first position by the elastic force of the spring.
9 . A medical device configured to be detachably connected to an actuator, the medical device comprising:
a insertion portion comprising a joint; a first wire connected to a joint, the first wire configured to bend the joint, a second wire connected to a joint, the second wire configured to bend the joint, when the medical device is not attached to the actuator, the first wire and the second wire are in a first state in which the first wire and the second wire are mechanically connected, and when the medical device is attached to the actuator, the first wire and the second wire are in a second state in which the first wire and the second wire are electrically driven independently.
10 . The medical device according to claim 9 , wherein the first wire and the second wire are a pair of wires that bend the joint in two opposing directions.
11 . The medical device according to claim 10 , wherein
the medical device comprises an attachment or detachment portion that is attached to and detached from the actuator, the attachment or detachment portion comprises a gear, when the attachment or detachment portion is not attached to the actuator, the gear connects the first wire and the second wire mechanically so that the first wire and the second wire are in the first state, and when the attachment or detachment portion is attached to the actuator, the gear disconnects the first wire and the second wire so that the first wire and the second wire are in the second state.
12 . The medical device according to claim 11 , wherein
the attachment or detachment portion comprises a first rotating drum around which the first wire is wound, and a second rotating drum around which the second wire is wound, and the actuator to which the attachment or detachment portion is attached drives the first wire by rotating the first rotating drum, and drives the second wire by rotating the second rotating drum.
13 . The medical device according to claim 12 , wherein
when the attachment or detachment portion is not attached to the actuator, the gear connects the first rotating drum and the second rotating drum mechanically so that the first wire and the second wire are connected mechanically, and when the attachment or detachment portion is attached to the actuator, the gear disconnects the first rotating drum and the second rotating drum so that the first wire and the second wire are disconnected mechanically.
14 . The medical device according to claim 13 , wherein
when the attachment or detachment portion is not attached to the actuator, the gear moves to the first position, and when the attachment or detachment portion is attached to the actuator, the gear moves to the second position by engaging with a part of the actuator.
15 . The medical device according to claim 14 , wherein
