Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 - 5 . (canceled)

6 . A method for determining whether a subject may benefit from (a) continued treatment with one or more anti-cancer therapies or (b) treatment with an anti-ICOS agonist, the method comprising determining ICOS and/or T-bet levels of peripheral CD4+ T cells of a sample of blood of the subject, wherein detection of increased ICOS and/or T-bet levels relative to a control indicates that the subject may benefit from the continued treatment, optionally in combination with an anti-ICOS antibody agonist, or treatment with an anti-ICOS agonist, when the one or more anti-cancer therapies does not comprise anti-ICOS antibody agonist treatment.

7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the method comprises determining ICOS levels of peripheral CD4+ T cells of a sample of blood of the subject, wherein detection of increased ICOS levels relative to a control indicates that the subject may benefit from the continued treatment, optionally in combination with an anti-ICOS antibody agonist, or treatment with an anti-ICOS agonist, when the one or more anti-cancer therapies does not comprise anti-ICOS antibody agonist treatment.

8 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the method comprises determining T-bet levels of peripheral CD4+ T cells of a sample of blood of the subject, wherein detection of increased T-bet levels relative to a control indicates that the subject may benefit from the continued treatment, optionally in combination with an anti-ICOS antibody agonist, or treatment with an anti-ICOS agonist, when the one or more anti-cancer therapies does not comprise anti-ICOS antibody agonist treatment.

9 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the method comprises determining ICOS and T-bet levels of peripheral CD4+ T cells of a sample of blood of the subject, wherein detection of increased ICOS or T-bet levels relative to a control indicates that the subject may benefit from the continued treatment, optionally in combination with an anti-ICOS antibody agonist, or treatment with an anti-ICOS agonist, when the one or more anti-cancer therapies does not comprise anti-ICOS antibody agonist treatment.

         10 - 76 . (canceled)
