Method for producing fluorine-containing organic compound

Abstract

An object of the present disclosure is to provide a novel method for producing a fluorine-containing organic compound by electrolytic fluorination, and the like. The object can be achieved by a method for producing a fluorine-containing organic compound (1), comprising step A of subjecting an organic compound (2) to electrolytic fluorination in the presence of 0.2 M or more of a metal fluoride, and a fluoroalcohol.

         15 . A composition comprising 0.2 M or more of a metal fluoride, a fluoroalcohol, and an organic solvent. 
     
     
         16 . The composition according to  claim 15 , wherein the metal fluoride is at least one metal fluoride selected from the group consisting of fluorides of metals belonging to Group 1 of the periodic table and fluorides of metals belonging to Group 2 of the periodic table. 
     
     
         17 . The composition according to  claim 15 , wherein the fluoroalcohol is a C 1-14  fluoroalcohol. 
     
     
         18 . The composition according to  claim 17 , wherein the fluoroalcohol is a fluoroalcohol having a fluorine content within the range of 50 to 80 mass %. 
     
     
         19 . The composition according to  claim 15 , wherein the concentration of the metal fluoride is within the range of 0.2 to 5 M.
