Abstract
A process for the production of a solid cosmetic preparation is described wherein a wax phase comprising at least one wax, at least one oil, and if applicable, oil-soluble ingredients and solvents are melted, the molten wax phase is mixed with an aqueous phase comprising at least one water-soluble or water-soluble water-dispersible film former and with a w/o emulsifying system until an emulsion is formed, and the resulting emulsion is allowed to cool to form a wax matrix with aqueous phase droplets embedded therein, and the products made therefrom and their use.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 .- 22 . (canceled)
23 . A wax preparation, comprising:
a continuous wax matrix comprising at least one wax and at least one oil; an aqueous phase comprising water and at least one water-soluble and/or water-dispersible film former; and at least one water-in-oil emulsifying system, wherein the water-in-oil emulsifying system is a combination of at least one sucrose ester and at least one emulsifier based on polyglyceryl fatty acid ester, wherein the aqueous phase is distributed in finely divided form in the continuous wax matrix, and wherein the aqueous phase with the at least one water-soluble and/or water-dispersible film former dissolved or dispersed in the aqueous phase are contained in droplets embedded in the wax matrix.
24 . The wax preparation of claim 23 , wherein the at least one water-soluble or water-dispersible film former is based on one or more of: acrylate or polyurethane.
25 . The wax preparation of claim 24 , wherein the at least one water-in-oil emulsifying system comprises:
a sucrose ester, including: sucrose laurate, sucrose stearate, sucrose distearates, sucrose polystearate, or a combination thereof; and a polyglyceryl fatty acid ester-based emulsifier, including: a polyglyceryl-5 dioleate, polyglyceryl-10 diisostearate, polyglyceryl-6 distearate, or a combination thereof.
26 . The wax preparation of claim 23 , wherein the at least one water-in-oil emulsifying system comprises:
a sucrose ester, including: sucrose laurate, sucrose stearate, sucrose distearates, sucrose polystearate, or a combination thereof; and a polyglyceryl fatty acid ester-based emulsifier, including: a polyglyceryl-5 dioleate, polyglyceryl-10 diisostearate, polyglyceryl-6 distearate, or a combination thereof.
27 . The wax preparation of claim 23 , wherein the wax matrix further comprises at least one solvent including at least one of: a volatile silicone or a volatile hydrocarbon.
28 . The wax preparation of claim 24 , wherein the wax matrix further comprises at least one solvent including at least one of: a volatile silicone or a volatile hydrocarbon.
29 . The wax preparation of claim 25 , wherein the wax matrix further comprises at least one solvent including at least one of: a volatile silicone or a volatile hydrocarbon.
30 . The wax preparation of claim 26 , wherein the wax matrix further comprises at least one solvent including at least one of: a volatile silicone or a volatile hydrocarbon.
31 . The wax preparation of claim 23 , wherein the film former comprises one or more of: a styrene/acrylates/ammonium methacrylate copolymer or polyurethane-35.
32 . The wax preparation of claim 24 , wherein the film former comprises one or more of: a styrene/acrylates/ammonium methacrylate copolymer or polyurethane-35.
33 . The wax preparation of claim 25 , wherein the film former comprises one or more of: a styrene/acrylates/ammonium methacrylate copolymer or polyurethane-35.
34 . The wax preparation of claim 30 , wherein the film former comprises one or more of: a styrene/acrylates/ammonium methacrylate copolymer or polyurethane-35.
35 . The wax preparation of claim 23 , wherein the film former comprises one or more of: a styrene/acrylates/ammonium methacrylate copolymer or polyurethane-35.
36 . The wax preparation of claim 23 , further comprising at least one or more of: a particulate material, a humectant, a preservative, or a scent.
37 . The wax preparation of claim 34 , further comprising at least one or more of: a particulate material, a humectant, a preservative, or a scent.
38 . The wax preparation of claim 23 , wherein the wax preparation comprises the particulate material, and wherein the particulate material comprises at least one or more of: a pigment, a pearlescing agent, or an effect substance.
39 . The wax preparation of claim 37 , wherein the wax preparation comprises the particulate material, and wherein the particulate material comprises at least one or more of: a pigment, a pearlescing agent, or an effect substance.
40 . A pencil lead for a pencil, comprising:
a wax preparation, comprising:
a continuous wax matrix comprising at least one wax and at least one oil;
an aqueous phase comprising water and at least one water-soluble and/or water-dispersible film former; and
at least one water-in-oil emulsifying system, wherein the water-in-oil emulsifying system is a combination of at least one sucrose ester and at least one emulsifier based on polyglyceryl fatty acid ester,
wherein the aqueous phase is distributed in finely divided form in the continuous wax matrix, and
wherein the aqueous phase with the at least one water-soluble and/or water-dispersible film former dissolved or dispersed in the aqueous phase are contained in droplets are embedded in the wax matrix.
41 . The pencil lead for a pencil of claim 40 , wherein the at least one water-in-oil emulsifying system comprises at least one sucrose ester and at least one emulsifier based on a polyglyceryl fatty acid ester.
42 . A process for producing a wax preparation, comprising:
melting a wax phase comprising at least one wax and at least one oil; mixing the melted wax phase, an aqueous phase comprising at least one water-soluble or water-dispersible film former, and at least one water-in-oil emulsifying system to form an emulsion; and cooling the emulsion to form the wax preparation having embedded aqueous phase droplets.Cited by (0)
