Abstract
An eye surgery method includes incising a cornea of an eye using a blade portion of a surgical cannulated blade instrument to create an opening in the cornea, injecting injectable into an anterior chamber of the eye through the opening by a lumen of the surgical cannulated blade, and stabilizing the eye by engaging an increasing diameter portion of the surgical cannulated blade with the opening.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An eye surgery method comprising:
incising a cornea of an eye using a blade portion of a surgical cannulated blade instrument to create an opening in the cornea; injecting injectable into an anterior chamber of the eye through the opening by a lumen of the surgical cannulated blade; and stabilizing the eye by engaging an increasing diameter portion of the surgical cannulated blade with the opening.
2 . The eye surgery method of claim 1 , wherein the injectable comprises viscoelastic.
3 . The eye surgery method of claim 1 , wherein the injectable comprises lidocaine.
4 . The eye surgery method of claim 1 , further comprising venting aqueous fluid from the anterior chamber through an indent in the increasing diameter portion.
5 . The eye surgery method of claim 1 , further comprising, after stabilizing the eye, creating a main incision in the cornea by a main blade.
6 . An eye surgery method comprising:
incising a cornea of an eye to create an opening in the cornea; injecting injectable into an anterior chamber of the eye through the opening by a lumen of a surgical cannulated instrument; and stabilizing the eye by engaging an increasing diameter portion of the surgical cannulated instrument with the opening.
7 . The eye surgery method of claim 6 , wherein the injectable comprises viscoelastic.
8 . The eye surgery method of claim 6 , wherein the injectable comprises lidocaine.
9 . The eye surgery method of claim 6 , further comprising venting aqueous fluid from the anterior chamber through an indent in the increasing diameter portion.
10 . The eye surgery method of claim 6 , further comprising, after stabilizing the eye, creating a main incision in the cornea.Cited by (0)
