Abstract
In non-limiting examples of the present disclosure, an electrical receptacle is provided. A first transmission tab configured to be electrically connected to a neutral terminal of the electrical receptacle is provided. A second transmission tab configured to be electrically connected to a live terminal of the electrical is provided. A speaker device in electrical communication with the first and second transmission tabs and a speaker grille cover secured to the receptacle cover are also provided, Other examples of the present disclosure relate to systems, methods and devices for influencing resonant modes of one or more vibrating surface, including a mode throttling device and an exciter device.

1 . An electrical receptacle cover assembly comprising:
an electrical receptacle cover; a first transmission tab that extends from the electrical receptacle cover and is configured to be electrically connected to a neutral terminal of an electrical receptacle; a second transmission tab that extends from the electrical receptacle cover and is configured to be electrically connected to a live terminal of the electrical receptacle; radio frequency (RE) circuitry that includes a RF transmitter and an RF receiver that cooperate to extend RF data communications between a first external RF device and a second external RF device; a power supply that draws electricity via the first transmission tab and the second transmission tabs, and provides a supplied power at a predetermined voltage to the RE circuitry, wherein
the RF receiver is configured to receive an input RF signal that carries data sent from the first external RF device, and
the RF transmitter is configured to transmit an RF output signal at carries the data to the second external RF device.
2 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 1 , wherein
the RF data communications includes reception and transmission of a Bluetooth signal.
3 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 1 , wherein
the RF data communications includes reception and transmission of a Wi-Fi signal.
4 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 1 , wherein
the RF circuitry is configured to communicate with other RF circuitry hosted in another electrical receptacle cover assembly connected to another electrical receptacle that is in a same building as the electrical receptable cover assembly.
5 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 4 , wherein
the another electrical receptable cover is located within RF communication range of the RF circuitry of the electrical receptacle cover assembly.
6 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 5 , wherein
the another electrical receptable cover is located in a different room in the same building than the electrical receptacle cover assembly.
7 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 6 , wherein
the electrical receptacle cover assembly is configured to be detachable from the electrical receptacle in a first room in the same building and attached to different electrical receptacle in a second room of the same building so as to provide RF communication coverage in the second room.
8 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 4 , wherein
the other RF circuitry of the another electrical receptable cover assembly and the RF circuitry of the electrical receptacle cover assembly are both components of a radio distribution network.
9 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 8 , wherein
the RF circuitry is configured to forward one or more data packets originating in, the same building from a modern or router to another device in the radio distribution network.
10 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 4 , wherein
the other RIF circuitry of the another electrical receptable cover assembly and the RF circuitry of the electrical receptacle cover assembly are both components of a computer network.
11 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 10 , wherein
the RF circuitry is configured to forward one or more data packets originating in the building from a modem or router to another device in the computer network.
12 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly, of claim 11 , wherein
the one or more data packets include computer readable instructions to be executed on the another device.
13 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 10 , wherein
the computer network extends outside of the building and at least one device on the computer network is accessible in a communication channel that at least partially includes Internet connectivity.
14 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 10 , wherein the computer network being a Local Area Network (LAN).
15 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 1 , further comprising:
a processor configured to exchange data over a wired communication channel with at least another electrical cover assembly, wherein at least a portion of the data exchanged over the wired communication channel is at exchanged over a wireless RF communication channel with at least one of the first external RF device and the second external RF device.
16 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 1 , further comprising:
an external device support platform coupled to the electrical receptacle cover, wherein the power supply includes a charger that is integrated into the external device support platform and is configured to charge an external device under a condition the external device is hosted on the external device support platform.
17 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 16 , wherein the charger includes an inductive charger that inductively charges the external device that is hosted on the external device support platform.
18 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 13 , wherein the external device support platform includes an electrical contact configured to provide power to the external device.
19 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 18 , wherein the the electrical contact is a universal serial bus (USB) port.
20 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 1 , further comprising:
programmable circuitry configured to receive power from the power supply and process computer readable instructions to execute control operations.
21 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 1 , wherein the electrical receptacle cover includes two electrical receptacle mounting apertures that expose corresponding electrical outlets, exposure of the electrical outlets provides plug-in access of a device to either of the electrical outlets so the device can draw power from the electrical outlet to which it is plugged-in.
22 . The electrical receptacle cover assembly of claim 21 , wherein the electric outlet provides power to the device, while the RF receiver and RF transmitter are operational and draw electricity from the power supply.
23 . A method for extending radio frequency (RE) communications via an electrical receptacle cover assembly, the method comprising
disposing an electrical receptacle cover over an electrical receptacle; electrically connecting a first transmission tab that extends from the electrical receptacle cover to a neutral terminal of the electrical receptacle; electrically connecting a second transmission tab that extends from the electrical receptacle cover to a live terminal of the electrical receptacle; extending RF data communications between a first external RF device and a second external RF device via radio frequency (RF) circuitry that includes a RE transmitter and an RF receiver, the RF circuitry being integrated with the electrical receptacle cover assembly; supplying power from a power supply that draws electricity via the first transmission tab and the second transmission tabs, and provides a supplied power at a predetermined voltage to the RF circuitry, the power supply being integrated with the electrical receptacle cover assembly;
receiving by the RF receiver an input R F signal that carries data sent from the first external RF device; and
