Novel pyridazines

Abstract

The present invention relates to novel pyridazines, processes for their preparation, pharmaceutical compositions containing them and their use in therapy, particularly in the treatment and/or prevention of diseases and disorders mediated by Autotaxin.

         E is selected from the group consisting of phenyl and pyridyl optionally substituted with one or two members of the group consisting of fluoro and F 1-7 -fluoro-C 1-3 -alkyl;

         2 . The compound of formula (I) according to  claim 1 , wherein A is pyridyl substituted with one or two of F 1-3 -fluoro-C 1 -alkyl.

         7 . A pharmaceutical composition comprising at least one compound of formula (I) according to  claim 1  or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. 
     
     
         8 . A method for the treatment or prevention of inflammatory airway diseases or fibrotic diseases comprising administering to a patient a compound of formula (I) according to  claim 1  or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. 
     
     
         9 . The method according to  claim 8 , wherein said method is for the treatment or prevention of idiopathic lung disease (IPF) or systemic sclerosis (SSc).
