Abstract

A device sized and shaped for insertion into a body comprising: at least one mechanical limb comprising: a support segment; a first flexible section extending from the support segment and terminating in a coupling section; and a second flexible section extending from the coupling section and terminating in a tool or a connector for a tool; wherein a long axis of one or more of the flexible sections is bendable in a single bending plane; wherein a long axis length of the first flexible section is at least double a maximum extent of the first flexible section perpendicular to a flexible section long axis; wherein a long axis length of the second flexible section is at least double a maximum extent of the second flexible section perpendicular to a flexible section long axis.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A structural link, comprising:
 a. a cylindrical body having a top surface, a bottom surface and a body extending between said top surface and said bottom surface; b. at least two pin connectors extending from said top end and located opposite to each other on said top surface; said at least two pin connectors dividing said top surface in at least two distinct areas, a first area and a second area in said top surface; c. a first protrusion extending from said first area; d. a second protrusion extending from said second area; e. at least two pin-receiving recesses extending from said bottom surface towards said top surface, each located beneath said at least two pin connectors; said at least two pin-receiving recesses dividing said bottom surface in at least two distinct areas, a third area and a fourth area in said bottom surface; each of said at least two pin-receiving recesses configured to receive a pin connector therein; f. a first protrusion-receiving recess located on said third area of said bottom surface and extending towards said top surface; said first protrusion-receiving recess configured to receive said first protrusion therein; and g. a second protrusion-receiving recess located on said fourth area of said bottom surface and extending towards said top surface; said second wedge-receiving recess configured to receive said second protrusion therein; wherein said first area is characterized by a shape being perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of said cylindrical body and wherein said second area is characterized by a trapezoidal shape extending towards said bottom end; wherein said third area is characterized by a shape being perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of said cylindrical body; wherein said third area is located beneath said first area and said fourth are is located beneath said second area.
