Abstract

A snack bag assembly for consuming a snack product without touching the snack product includes a bag containing a snack product and a flap that is disposed in the bag. The flap is positioned inside the bag and the flap is extendable outwardly from the bag when the bag is opened such that the flap defines a chute. Moreover, the chute facilitates the snack product to be poured from the bag. In this way the chute facilitates a user to consume the snack product without having to touch the snack product with their hands.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
I claim:

1 . A snack bag assembly having a dispensing flap integrated therein for enhancing pouring snacks from a bag, said assembly comprising:
a bag containing a snack product; and a flap being disposed in said bag, said flap being positioned inside said bag, said flap being extendable outwardly from said bag when said bag is opened such that said flap defines a chute, said chute facilitating the snack product to be poured from said bag wherein said chute is configured to facilitate the user to consume the snack product without having to touch the snack product with their hands.

2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein:
said bag has a top end, a front side, a back side and an inside surface, said top end being closed, said top end being openable wherein said top end is configured to facilitate a user to access the snack product, each of said front side and said back side intersecting each other at each of a first lateral side and a second lateral side of said bag; and said flap has a coupled edge and a free edge, said coupled edge extending along a straight line, said free edge being convexly arcuate with respect to said coupled edge such that said flap has a bullet shape, said coupled edge being coupled to said inside surface of said bag, said coupled edge being aligned with said top end.

3 . The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein said coupled edge extends along each of said front side and said back side from said first lateral side toward said second lateral side such that an apex of said free edge is aligned with said first lateral side.

4 . The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein said flap lies against said inside surface of said bag when said bag is closed, said flap being extendable outwardly from said top end having said free edge being exposed when said bag is opened.

5 . A snack bag assembly having a dispensing flap integrated therein for enhancing pouring snacks from a bag, said assembly comprising:
a bag containing a snack product, said bag having a top end, a front side, a back side and an inside surface, said top end being closed, said top end being openable wherein said top end is configured to facilitate a user to access the snack product, each of said front side and said back side intersecting each other at each of a first lateral side and a second lateral side of said bag; and a flap being disposed in said bag, said flap being positioned inside said bag, said flap being extendable outwardly from said bag when said bag is opened such that said flap defines a chute, said chute facilitating the snack product to be poured from said bag wherein said chute is configured to facilitate the user to consume the snack product without having to touch the snack product with their hands, said flap having a coupled edge and a free edge, said coupled edge extending along a straight line, said free edge being convexly arcuate with respect to said coupled edge such that said flap has a bullet shape, said coupled edge being coupled to said inside surface of said bag, said coupled edge being aligned with said top end, said coupled edge extending along each of said front side and said back side from said first lateral side toward said second lateral side such that an apex of said free edge is aligned with said first lateral side, said flap lying against said inside surface of said bag when said bag is closed, said flap being extendable outwardly from said top end having said free edge being exposed when said bag is opened.

6 . A method of consuming a snack product contained in a bag without touching the snack product, the steps of the method comprising:
providing a bag containing a snack product, said bag having a top end, said top end being in a normally closed condition, said top end being openable to access said snack product; providing a flap having a free end and a coupled end, said coupled end being coupled to an inside surface of said bag, said coupled end being aligned with said top end, said flap being contained within said bag when said top end is in said normally closed condition; openings said top end of said bag; pulling said flap outwardly from said top end such that said flap defines a chute; tipping said bag to pour the snack product outwardly from said bag; and directing said chute defined by said flap toward a desired location to direct the snack product into the desired location without requiring a user to touch the snack product.
