Combination of bi853520 with chemotherapeutic drugs

Abstract

The present invention relates to a use of BI853520 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in preparing drugs for treating tumors in combination with chemotherapeutic drugs.

         19 . The pharmaceutical combination of  claim 18 , wherein the chemotherapeutic drug is PLD, taxane or cisplatin. 
     
     
         20 . The pharmaceutical combination of  claim 19 , wherein the chemotherapeutic drug is PLD. 
     
     
         21 . The pharmaceutical combination of  claim 19 , wherein the chemotherapeutic drug is taxane, especially docetaxel or paclitaxel. 
     
     
         22 . The pharmaceutical combination of  claim 18 , wherein the pharmaceutically acceptable salt is BI853520 tartrate. 
     
     
         23 . A method for treating a tumor in a subject, which comprises administering to the subject i) BI853520 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and ii) a chemotherapeutic drug, especially i) an effective amount of BI853520 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and ii) an effective amount of a chemotherapeutic drug; wherein the BI853520 has a structural formula of: 
       
         
           
           
               
               
           
         
       
     
     
         24 . The method of  claim 23 , wherein the chemotherapeutic drug is PLD, taxane or cisplatin.

The method of  claim 23 , wherein the tumor is acute lymphocytic leukemia, acute myelocytic leukemia, malignant lymphoma, breast cancer, lung cancer, ovarian cancer, soft tissue sarcoma, osteosarcoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, Ewing's sarcoma, blastoma, neuroblastoma, bladder cancer, thyroid cancer, prostate cancer, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, nasopharyngeal cancer, esophageal cancer, testicular cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer or melanoma. 
     
     
         26 . The method of  claim 25 , wherein the tumor is ovarian cancer, gastric cancer, prostate cancer, esophageal cancer, or lung cancer. 
     
     
         27 . The method of  claim 24 , wherein the chemotherapeutic drug is PLD. 
     
     
         28 . The method of  claim 27 , wherein the tumor is ovarian cancer, especially platinum-resistant ovarian cancer. 
     
     
         29 . The method of  claim 24 , wherein the chemotherapeutic drug is taxane, especially docetaxel or paclitaxel. 
     
     
         30 . The method of  claim 29 , wherein the tumor is prostate cancer, esophageal cancer or gastric cancer. 
     
     
         31 . The method of  claim 23 , wherein the BI853520 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and the chemotherapeutic drug are administered simultaneously, alternately or sequentially. 
     
     
         32 . The method of  claim 23 , wherein the pharmaceutically acceptable salt is BI853520 tartrate.
