. The dual transceiver device of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise passing data packets received between the first wireless network transceiver and the second wireless network transceiver.
. The dual transceiver device of claim 6 , wherein the operations further comprise: terminating the wireless networking services via the second wireless network transceiver using the original network name.
. The dual transceiver device of claim 1 , wherein the processing system comprises a plurality of processors operating in a distributed computing environment.
. A non-transitory, machine-readable medium, comprising executable instructions that, when executed by a processing system including a processor, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising:
joining a wireless network via a first wireless network transceiver of a dual transceiver device, wherein the first wireless network transceiver joins the wireless network using a temporary network name for the wireless network provided by an access point, wherein the temporary network name is different from an original network name provided by the access point; providing wireless networking services via a second wireless network transceiver of the dual transceiver device, wherein the wireless networking services are provided using the original network name, wherein the second wireless network transceiver is communicatively coupled to the first wireless network transceiver; adjusting a coverage area of the wireless networking services by moving a location of the dual transceiver device; connecting a network device in the coverage area to the wireless networking services via the second wireless network transceiver.
. The non-transitory, machine-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the operations further comprise logging a location and a name of the network device.
. The non-transitory, machine-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the operations further comprise changing a transmission power level of the second wireless network transceiver to change the coverage area.
. The non-transitory, machine-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the operations further comprise changing a transmission signal direction of the second wireless network transceiver to change the coverage area.
. The non-transitory, machine-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the operations further comprise passing data packets received between the first wireless network transceiver and the second wireless network transceiver.
. The non-transitory, machine-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the operations further comprise:
terminating the wireless networking services via the second wireless network transceiver using the original network name; and notifying the access point to resume the wireless networking services under the original network name.
. The non-transitory, machine-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the operations further comprise: notifying the access point to resume the wireless networking services under the original network name.
. The non-transitory, machine-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the processing system comprises a plurality of processors operating in a distributed computing environment.
. A method, comprising:
wirelessly connecting, by a processing system including a processor, a first wireless network transceiver of a dual transceiver device to an access point providing a temporary network name, wherein the temporary network name is different from an original network name; providing, by the processing system, wireless networking services via a second wireless network transceiver of the dual transceiver device using the original network name, wherein the second wireless network transceiver is communicatively coupled to the first wireless network transceiver; adjusting, by the processing system, a coverage area of the wireless networking services by moving the dual transceiver device; connecting, by the processing system, a network device in the coverage area to the wireless networking services via the second wireless network transceiver; and logging, by the processing system, a location and a name of the network device.
. The method of claim 17 , comprising: forwarding, by the processing system, data packets received between the first wireless network transceiver and the second wireless network transceiver.
