Claims

Abstract

A composition suitable for control of diseases caused by phytopathogens comprising (A) a compound of formula Iwherein R1 is difluoromethyl or trifluoromethyl and X is chloro, fluoro or bromo; and (B) at least one compound selected from compounds known for their fungicidal activity; and a method of controlling diseases on useful plants, especially rust diseases on soybean plants.

         1 . A composition, comprising:

         2 . The composition of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 (C) at least one of:   
       azoxystrobin, dimoxystrobin, fluoxastrobin, kresoxim-methyl, metominostrobin, orysastrobin, picoxystrobin, pyraclostrobin, trifloxystrobin, a compound of formula B-1.1

 a synergistically effective amount of:

         wherein R 1  is difluoromethyl or trifluoromethyl and X is chloro, fluoro or bromo, and
 (B2) an azole fungicide; and 
 
       
       wherein the composition further comprises mancozeb. 
     
     
         19 . The composition of  claim 18 , wherein component (A) is a compound of formula (I), wherein R 1  is difluoromethyl and X is chloro. 
     
     
         20 . The composition of  claim 19 , wherein component (B2) is prothioconazole. 
     
     
         21 . The composition of  claim 20 , wherein the weight ratio of (A) to (B2) is from 2000:1 to 1:1000. 
     
     
         22 . A method of controlling diseases on useful plants or on propagation material thereof caused by phytopathogens, which comprises applying to the useful plants, the locus thereof or propagation material thereof a composition according to  claim 20 . 
     
     
         23 . A method of controlling diseases on soybean plants caused by phytopathogens, which comprises applying to the soybean plants or to the locus thereof a composition according to  claim 20 . 
     
     
         24 . The method according to  claim 23 , wherein the phytopathogen is  Phakopsora pachyrhizi.
