Combined Sleeping Bag And Tent Assembly
Abstract
A combined sleeping bag and tent assembly includes a sleeping bag that has a pad pouch that is integrated into the sleeping bag. The sleeping bag has a pair of tent fasteners each extending along opposite sides of the sleeping bag. A pillow is removably attachable to the sleeping bag for sleeping. A sleeping pad is insertable into the pad pouch in the sleeping bag and the sleeping pad can be laid upon when sleeping in the sleeping bag. A tent is provided and a pair of sleeping bag fasteners is each integrated into the tent. Each of the sleeping bag fasteners releasably engages a respective one of the tent fasteners for releasably attaching the sleeping bag to the tent.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . A combined sleeping bag and tent assembly to facilitate shelter for sleeping outdoors, said assembly comprising:
a sleeping bag having a pad pouch being integrated into said sleeping bag, said sleeping bag having a pair of tent fasteners each extending along opposite sides of said sleeping bag; a pillow being removably attachable to said sleeping bag for sleeping; a sleeping pad being insertable into said pad pouch in said sleeping bag wherein said sleeping pad is configured to be laid upon when sleeping in said sleeping bag; a tent having a pair of sleeping bag fasteners each being integrated into said tent, each of said sleeping bag fasteners releasably engaging a respective one of said tent fasteners for releasably attaching said sleeping bag to said tent.
2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein said sleeping bag includes a lower panel, said lower panel having a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge, each of said tent fasteners extending along a respective one of said first lateral edge and said second lateral edge of said bottom panel.
3 . The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein said sleeping bag has a pillow fastener being integrated into a top surface of a base portion of said sleeping bag, said base portion resting on said lower panel, said base portion being substantially hollow to define said pad pouch within said base portion.
4 . The assembly according to claim 3 , wherein said base portion has a forward end, said forward end having a cut extending into said pad pouch, said sleeping bag having a pouch fastener being integrated into said base portion, said pouch fastener being aligned with said cut for opening and closing said cut.
5 . The assembly according to claim 3 , wherein said pillow has a pillow fastener being integrated into said pillow, said pillow fastener on said pillow removably engaging said pillow fastener on said sleeping bag.
6 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein said tent has a bottom wall, a front wall, a back wall and a top wall, said top wall curving upwardly from said bottom wall such that said tent has a dome shape, each of said sleeping bag fasteners being positioned on a top surface of said bottom wall.
7 . The assembly according to claim 6 , wherein:
said front wall has an entrance being integrated into said front wall to access an interior of said tent, said entrance including an entrance fastener for opening and closing said entrance; said top wall has an air vent being integrated into said top wall wherein said air vent is configured to pass air through said air vent for ventilating said tent; and said top wall has a flap being positionable over said air vent for closing said air vent, said flap releasably engaging a flap fastener being integrated into said top wall when said flap is positioned to cover said vent.
8 . The assembly according to claim 6 , further comprising a pole being integrated into said tent, said pole being comprised of a resiliently bendable material, said pole being biased into an arcuate position for urging said tent into a deployed position, said pole being bendable into a collapsed position to collapse said tent for storage, said pole being continuous, said pole being positioned to extend around a perimeter of said top wall such that said pole defines a curved ellipse when said pole is biased into said arcuate position.
9 . A combined sleeping bag and tent assembly to facilitate shelter for sleeping outdoors, said assembly comprising:
a sleeping bag having a pad pouch being integrated into said sleeping bag, said sleeping bag having a pair of tent fasteners each extending along opposite sides of said sleeping bag, said sleeping bag including a lower panel, said lower panel having a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge, each of said tent fasteners extending along a respective one of said first lateral edge and said second lateral edge of said bottom panel, said sleeping bag having a pillow fastener being integrated into a top surface of a base portion of said sleeping bag, said base portion resting on said lower panel, said base portion being substantially hollow to define said pad pouch within said base portion, said base portion having a forward end, said forward end having a cut extending into said pad pouch, said sleeping bag having a pouch fastener being integrated into said base portion, said pouch fastener being aligned with said cut for opening and closing said cut; a pillow being removably attachable to said sleeping bag for sleeping, said pillow having a pillow fastener being integrated into said pillow, said pillow fastener on said pillow removably engaging said pillow fastener on said sleeping bag; a sleeping pad being insertable into said pad pouch in said sleeping bag wherein said sleeping pad is configured to be laid upon when sleeping in said sleeping bag, said sleeping pad being comprised of a resiliently compressible material wherein said sleeping pad is configured to enhance comfort when sleeping in said sleeping bag; a tent having a pair of sleeping bag fasteners each being integrated into said tent, each of said sleeping bag fasteners releasably engaging a respective one of said tent fasteners for releasably attaching said sleeping bag to said tent, said tent having a bottom wall, a front wall, a back wall and a top wall, said top wall curving upwardly from said bottom wall such that said tent has a dome shape, each of said sleeping bag fasteners being positioned on a top surface of said bottom wall, said front wall having an entrance being integrated into said front wall to access an interior of said tent, said entrance including an entrance fastener for opening and closing said entrance, said top wall having an air vent being integrated into said top wall wherein said air vent is configured to pass air through said air vent for ventilating said tent, said top wall having a flap being positionable over said air vent for closing said air vent, said flap releasably engaging a flap fastener being integrated into said top wall when said flap is positioned to cover said vent; and a pole being integrated into said tent, said pole being comprised of a resiliently bendable material, said pole being biased into an arcuate position for urging said tent into a deployed position, said pole being bendable into a collapsed position to collapse said tent for storage, said pole being continuous, said pole being positioned to extend around a perimeter of said top wall such that said pole defines a curved ellipse when said pole is biased into said arcuate position.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
