Abstract
Provided herein are combinations that include an HDACi and a PD-L1 inhibitor that are useful for treating cancer, including cancer resistant to PD-1 inhibitors.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method for treating cancer comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of a combination of a histone deacetylase inhibitor (HDAC inhibitor) and PD-L1 inhibitor to a subject in need of treatment.

6 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the PD-L1 inhibitor is a small molecule compound, a nucleic acid, a peptide, a protein, an antibody, a peptibody, a diabody, a minibody, a single-chain variable fragment (ScFv), or a fragment or variant thereof.
7 . The method according to claim 6 , wherein
the PD-L1 inhibitor comprises an antibody.
8 . The method according to claim 7 , wherein the antibody comprises one or more of durvalumab, avelumab, atezolizumab, BMS-936559, STI-A1010, STI-AlOl l, STI-A1012, STI Al013, STI-A1014, or STI-A1015.

The method of claim 1 , wherein the cancer treated is one or more of prostate, skin, ovarian cancer; cancers of non-lymphoid parenchymal organs including the heart, placenta, skeletal muscle and lung; breast cancer; cancers of the head and neck including various lymphomas, such as mantle cell lymphoma, non-Hodgkins B cell lymphoma, PTCL, adenoma, squamous cell carcinoma, laryngeal carcinoma, salivary carcinoma, thymomas and thymic carcinoma; leukemia; cancers of the retina; cancers of the esophagus; multiple myeloma; melanoma; colorectal cancer; lung cancer; cervical cancer; endometrium carcinoma; gallbladder cancer; liver cancer; thyroid follicular cancer; gastric cancer; non-small cell lung carcinoma; glioma; urothelial cancer; bladder cancer; prostate cancer; renal cell cancer; infiltrating ductal carcinoma; and glioblastoma multiform.
14 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the subject has been treated with at least one anti-cancer therapy or anti-cancer agent which is chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery, immunotherapy or combination thereof.
