Abstract
This disclosure provides a User Equipment (UE), including: a transmitter configured to transmit at least one Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session identifier (ID), each of which indicates a PDU session that the UE needs to use in a Non Access Stratum (NAS) Service Request message to a Mobility Management Function (MMF) via an access network (AN) node when the UE has user data to send.

sending, to a second core network node, a first request so that a User Plane resource is released; and receiving a Radio Resource Configuration (RRC) message, wherein the first request includes at least one session ID, and the at least one session ID corresponds to a first core network node.
2 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the RRC message is received to release an access node resource.
3 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the User Plane resource is released by the first core network node.
4 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the first core network node is a session management function (SMF).
5 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the second core network node is a mobility management node.
6 . A method performed in a second core network node, the method comprising:
receiving, from a User Equipment (UE), a first request so that a User Plane resource is released; and sending, to a first core network node, the first request; wherein the first request includes at least one session ID, and the at least one session ID corresponds to the first core network node.
7 . The method according to claim 6 , further comprising:
receiving, from the first core network node, a protocol data unit (PDU) session release command; and sending, to an access node, information including the PDU session release command.
8 . The method according to claim 6 , wherein the User Plane resource is released by the first core network node.
9 . The method according to claim 6 , wherein the first core network node is a session management function (SMF).
10 . The method according to claim 6 , wherein the second core network node is a mobility management node.
11 . A method performed in a first core network node, the method comprising:
receiving, from a second core network node, a first request; and releasing a User Plane resource after receiving the first request; wherein the first request includes at least one session ID, and the at least one session ID corresponds to the first core network node.
12 . The method according to claim 11 , further comprising:
sending, to the second core network node, a protocol data unit (PDU) session release command.
13 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the first core network node is a session management function (SMF).
14 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the second core network node is a mobility management node.
15 . A User Equipment (UE) comprising:
a memory having stored therein program instructions; and at least one processor that when executing the program instructions is configured to: send, to a second core network node, a first request so that a User Plane resource is released and receive a Radio Resource Configuration (RRC) message, wherein the first request includes at least one session ID, wherein the at least one session ID corresponds to a first core network node.
16 . The user equipment (UE) according to claim 15 , wherein the RRC message is received to release an access node resource.
17 . The user equipment (UE) according to claim 15 , wherein the User Plane resource is released by the first core network node.
18 . The user equipment (UE) according to claim 15 , wherein the first core network node is a session management function (SMF).
19 . The user equipment (UE) according to claim 15 , wherein the second core network node is a mobility management node.
20 . A second core network node comprising:
a memory having stored therein program instructions; and at least one processor that when executing the program instructions is configured to: receive, from a User Equipment (UE), a first request so that a User Plane resource is released; and send, to a first core network node, the first request; wherein the first request includes at least one session ID, and the at least one session ID corresponds to the first core network node.
21 . The second core network node according to claim 20 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the program instructions to receive, from the first core network node, a protocol data unit (PDU) session release command, and
send, to an access node, information including the PDU session release command.
22 . The second core network node according to claim 20 , wherein the User Plane resource is released by the first core network node.
23 . The second core network node according to claim 20 , where in the first core network node is a session management function (SMF).
24 . The second core network node according to claim 20 , wherein the second core network node is a mobility management node.
25 . A first core network node comprising:
a memory having stored therein program instructions; and at least one processor that when executing the program instructions is configured to: receive, from a second core network node, a first request; and release a User Plane resource after receiving the first request; wherein the first request includes at least one session ID, and the at least one session ID corresponds to the first core network node.
26 . The first core network node according to claim 25 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the program instructions to send, to the second core network node, a protocol data unit (PDU) session release command.
27 . The first core network node according to claim 25 , wherein the first core network node is a session management function (SMF).
