Abstract

A tangible non-transitory computer readable medium includes instructions that, when executed by a processor, are configured to cause the processor to detect a movement state of an agricultural implement and automatically retract a stabilizer of a stabilization system from an extended position to a retracted position in response to detecting the movement state of the agricultural implement. The stabilizer is connected to a rear portion of a frame of the agricultural implement, and the stabilizer is configured to support a weight of the rear portion while in the extended position.

1 . A tangible non-transitory computer readable medium, comprising instructions that, when executed by a processor, are configured to cause the processor to:
 detect a movement state of an agricultural implement; and   automatically retract a stabilizer of a stabilization system from an extended position to a retracted position in response to detecting the movement state of the agricultural implement, wherein the stabilizer is connected to a rear portion of a frame of the agricultural implement, and the stabilizer is configured to support a weight of the rear portion while in the extended position.   
     
     
         2 . The tangible non-transitory computer readable medium of  claim 1 , wherein the rear portion is a section of the frame behind a center of mass of the frame. 
     
     
         3 . The tangible non-transitory computer readable medium of  claim 1 , wherein the stabilizer is in the form of a jack. 
     
     
         4 . The tangible non-transitory computer readable medium of  claim 1 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the processor, are configured to cause the processor to:
 detect disconnection of the agricultural implement from an agricultural vehicle; and   automatically extend the stabilizer from the retracted position to the extended position in response to determining the disconnection.   
     
     
         5 . The tangible non-transitory computer readable medium of  claim 4 , wherein the disconnection of the agricultural implement from the agricultural vehicle is detected in response to unhitching a hitch of the agricultural implement from the agricultural vehicle. 
     
     
         6 . The tangible non-transitory computer readable medium of  claim 1 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the processor, are configured to cause the processor to receive a signal from a sensor indicative of a shift selection, and the movement state of the agricultural implement is detected in response to the shift selection being a drive shift selection. 
     
     
         7 . The tangible non-transitory computer readable medium of  claim 1 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the processor, are configured to cause the processor to receive a signal from a sensor indicative of a speed of the agricultural implement, and the movement state of the agricultural implement is detected in response to the speed being greater than zero. 
     
     
         8 . A tangible non-transitory computer readable medium, comprising instructions that, when executed by a processor, are configured to cause the processor to:
 detect disconnection of an agricultural implement from an agricultural vehicle; and   automatically extend a stabilizer of a stabilization system from a retracted position to an extended position in response to determining the disconnection, wherein the stabilizer is connected to a rear portion of a frame of the agricultural implement, and the stabilizer is configured to support a weight of the rear portion while in the extended position.   
     
     
         9 . The tangible non-transitory computer readable medium of  claim 8 , wherein the disconnection of the agricultural implement from the agricultural vehicle is detected in response to unhitching a hitch of the agricultural implement from the agricultural vehicle. 
     
     
         10 . The tangible non-transitory computer readable medium of  claim 8 , wherein the rear portion is a section of the frame behind a center of mass of the frame. 
     
     
         11 . The tangible non-transitory computer readable medium of  claim 8 , wherein the stabilizer is in the form of a jack. 
     
     
         12 . An agricultural system, comprising:
 a controller comprising a memory, wherein the controller is configured to:
 detect a movement state of an agricultural implement; and 
 automatically retract a stabilizer of a stabilization system from an extended position to a retracted position in response to detecting the movement state of the agricultural implement, wherein the stabilizer is connected to a rear portion of a frame of the agricultural implement, and the stabilizer is configured to support a weight of the rear portion while in the extended position. 
   
     
     
         13 . The agricultural system of  claim 12 , comprising the agricultural implement, wherein the rear portion is a section of the frame behind a center of mass of the frame. 
     
     
         14 . The agricultural system of  claim 13 , wherein the agricultural implement comprises a plurality of ground engaging tools connected to the rear portion. 
     
     
         15 . The agricultural system of  claim 13 , wherein the frame has a front portion, and the front portion comprises a hitch. 
     
     
         16 . The agricultural system of  claim 12 , comprising the stabilization system, wherein the stabilizer is in the form of a jack. 
     
     
         17 . The agricultural system of  claim 16 , wherein the stabilization system comprises a remote switch operably connected to the stabilizer, and the remote switch is configured to override controller control of the stabilizer. 
     
     
         18 . The agricultural system of  claim 12 , wherein the controller is configured to:
 detect disconnection of the agricultural implement from an agricultural vehicle; and   automatically extend the stabilizer from the retracted position to the extended position in response to determining the disconnection.   
     
     
         19 . The agricultural system of  claim 12 , comprising a sensor, wherein the controller is configured to:
 receive a signal from the sensor indicative of a shift selection; and   detect the movement state of the agricultural implement in response to the shift selection being a drive shift selection.   
     
     
         20 . The agricultural system of  claim 12 , comprising a sensor, wherein the controller is configured to:
 receive a signal from the sensor indicative of a speed of the agricultural implement; and   determine the movement state of the agricultural implement in response to the speed being greater than zero.
