The present application provides compounds and methods of treating viral infections, including viral infections caused by HIV or HTLV.

A method of treating a human T-cell leukemia-lymphoma virus (HTLV) infection, the method comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of a compound selected from:

         48 . A method of treating a human T-cell leukemia-lymphoma virus (HTLV) infection, the method comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of darunavir or indinavir, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. 
     
     
         49 . The method of  claim 48 , comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of darunavir, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. 
     
     
         50 . The method of  claim 48 , further comprising administering to the subject another antiviral therapeutic agent useful in treating an HTLV infection, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. 
     
     
         51 . The method of  claim 50 , wherein the antiviral therapeutic agent useful in treating an HTLV infection is selected from prosultiamine, azacytidine, tenofovir disoproxil, and cepharanthine, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
