Abstract

The subject invention provides a method of treating an individual afflicted with early stage Dupuytren's disease characterized by the presence of one or more nodules on the individual's hand which comprises injecting into each nodule a pharmaceutical composition comprising an amount of an antihuman TNFa antibody or fragment thereof effective to treat the individual, wherein the pharmaceutical composition is in the form of a liquid and between 0.1 ml and 0.6 ml of the composition is injected into each nodule. This invention also provides for a pre-filled syringe for carrying out the above-described method.

A method of treating an individual afflicted with Dupuytren's disease characterized by the presence of one or more nodules on the individual's hand which comprises injecting into each nodule a liquid pharmaceutical composition comprising a total of 40 mg of adalimumab, wherein the pharmaceutical composition is free of citrate, and is injected into each such nodule using a syringe with a needle, the gauge of which is equal to 25 gauge, and wherein the injecting is repeated for each such nodule at a time interval of every three months over a time period of 12 months. 
     
     
         79 . The method of  claim 78 , wherein the Dupuytren's disease is early stage Dupuytren's disease.

A method of reducing pain associated with treating an individual afflicted with Dupuytren's disease characterized by the presence of one or more nodules on the individual's hand which comprises injecting into each nodule a liquid pharmaceutical composition comprising a total of 40 mg of adalimumab, wherein the pharmaceutical composition is free of citrate, and is injected into each such nodule using a syringe with a needle, the gauge of which is equal to 25 gauge, and wherein the injecting is repeated for each such nodule at a time interval of every three months over a time period of 12 months. 
     
     
         81 . The method of  claim 80 , wherein the Dupuytren's disease is early stage Dupuytren's disease.
