Leg and hip exercise device
Abstract
The present invention relates to an exercise method and an exercise device for performing an exercise suitable for thigh and hip muscles like fitness equipment or an exercise bicycle, and more particularly, to an exercise method and an exercise device for strengthening thigh and hip muscles by performing a movement of lowering legs and then moving the legs backward or putting the legs together or apart from a position of pulling the legs toward a chest of the user with an arm disposed between the legs in a sitting or lying position of the user. In addition, the present invention relates to a leg exercise device including a trajectory measuring device of generating motion range information of the exercise device and making the motion range information as data through a motion range measurement sensor attached to a knee and a hip joint of the user seated on the exercise device, smart device and an application of the smart device.

4 . An exercise device for exercising legs and hips, comprising:
a frame; a seat connected to the frame and configured to allow a user to have a sitting or lying position; a guiding rail connected to the frame; a slide arm configured to slide in a guide range of the guiding rail; and a leg pad pivotably connected to one end of the slide arm and disposed below a leg of a user or disposed to contact a rear surface of the leg of the user, wherein the slide arm and the guiding rail are provided so that the slide arm rotates about the guiding rail, and as the guiding rail is disposed between both legs of the user when viewed on a plan view, not to require the user to seat on the seat part at a different position or two guide rails to be provided on both sides, and the user is able to performs a movement of lowering the legs and moving the legs backward by using a hip joint of the user as an axis from a start position in which the user sits or lies on the seat, places the legs on the leg pad, and pulls the legs toward a chest of the user, wherein the guiding rail connected to the frame comprises an axis conversion part configured to convert a pivot-axis between an x-pivot axis direction parallel to the ground and a y-pivot axis direction perpendicular to the ground to adjust the pivot-axis suitable for a portion of a user's body that the user wants to exercise, wherein the guiding rail is rotatable perpendicularly or horizontally to the frame, and the axis conversion part comprises a guiding rail fixing device configured to fix the guiding rail to the frame, wherein, when the guide rail horizontally rotates and is fixed to the frame, the user is able to perform a movement of closing legs from a starting position where the user opens both legs or a movement of opening the legs from a starting position where the user closes both legs.
5 . An exercise device for exercising legs and hips, comprising:
a frame; a seat connected to the frame and configured to allow a user to have a sitting or lying position; a guiding rail connected to the frame; a slide arm configured to slide in a guide range of the guiding rail; and a leg pad pivotably connected to one end of the slide arm and disposed below a leg of a user or disposed to contact a rear surface of the leg of the user, wherein the slide arm and the guiding rail are provided so that the slide arm rotates about the guiding rail, and the guide rail is fixed to the frame horizontally to the ground to enable the user to perform a movement of closing legs from a starting position where the user opens both legs or a movement of opening the legs from a starting position where the user closes both legs.

13 . Apparatus for lower body exercise comprising:
a seat part connected to a middle upper end of a frame; and a pivot axis arranged at a position corresponding to the seat part to enable a user to perform a movement of vertically rotating legs of the user about a hip joint as an axis while seating on the seat part, wherein the pivot axis is divided into a right side and a left side that are aligned in a coaxial direction and spaced apart from each other, the apparatus further comprising: a first resistive force generator connected to the pivot axis; an arm having an end connected to both ends of the pivot axis; a connecting member having an end coupled to another end of the arm, the connecting member being capable of adjusting the strength of longitudinal contraction and elongation; pedals connected to another end of the connecting member; and a second resistive force generator connected to the connecting member, wherein a length between the pedals and the arm is adjusted as a length of the connecting member is adjusted, and the connecting member is provided to enable strength adjustment in elongation and contraction, such that, when the user pushes the pedals, the length of the connecting member increases at the moment the user pushes the pedals and a resistive force is applied to legs of the user, to enable the user to simultaneously push the pedals while the user seats on the seat part, places legs on the pedals, and then performs a movement of vertically rotating the legs of the user about a hip joint as an axis.

19 . A gear device comprising:
a pivot axis arranged at a position corresponding to the seat part to enable a user to perform a movement of vertically rotating legs of the user about a hip joint as an axis while seating on the seat part, wherein the pivot axis is divided into a right side and a left side that are aligned in a coaxial direction and spaced apart from each other, wherein the right axis and the left axis are connected by using a gear, or a roller connected with a wire, and the left axis rotates counterclockwise when the right axis rotates clockwise, comprising: an arm pivotably connected to an end of the axis of the gear; and the apparatus further comprising: a first resistive force generator connected to the pivot axis; an arm having an end connected to both ends of the pivot axis; a connecting member having an end coupled to another end of the arm, the connecting member being capable of adjusting the strength of longitudinal contraction and elongation; pedals connected to another end of the connecting member; and a second resistive force generator connected to the connecting member, wherein a length between the pedals and the arm is adjusted as a length of the connecting member is adjusted, and
the connecting member is provided to enable strength adjustment in elongation and contraction, such that, when the user pushes the pedals, the length of the connecting member increases at the moment the user pushes the pedals and a resistive force is applied to legs of the user, to enable the user to simultaneously push the pedals while the user seats on the seat part, places legs on the pedals, and then performs a movement of vertically rotating the legs of the user about a hip joint as an axis.
20 . The apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the connecting member comprises:
a tube connected to the arm; a bar connected to the pedals and provided to be inserted into the tube and perform a reciprocal movement; and a resistive force generator to generate a resistive force when the bar linearly moves outside from the tube.
21 . A lower body exercise apparatus comprising:
a seat part connected to a middle upper end of a frame; a pivot axis divided into a right side and a left side that are aligned in a coaxial direction and spaced apart from each other; a tension pulley provided on the pivot axis to be connected to a resistor; an arm having an end connected to both ends of the pivot axis; and a leg pad connected to another end of the arm, wherein the left side and the right side of the pivot axis are connected using a gear or a roller such that, when the right pivot axis rotates clockwise, the left pivot axis rotates counterclockwise, and
the pivot axis is arranged at a position corresponding to a hip joint of a user to enable the user to perform a movement of rotating legs vertically or leftward or rightward about the hip joint of the user as an axis while the user securely places the legs of the user on the leg holder.
22 . An exercise device comprising:
a seat part connected to a middle upper end of a frame; a pivot axis divided into a right side and a left side that are aligned in a coaxial direction and spaced apart from each other; a pivot axis separated into a right axis and a left axis, wherein the right axis and the left axis are connected by using a spiral gear, a bevel gear, a spur gear, or a roller connected with a wire, and the left axis rotates counterclockwise when the right axis rotates clockwise; an arm having an end connected to an end of the pivot axis; a leg pad connected to another end of the arm, a right vertical bevel gear connected to a left side of the right pivot axis; a left vertical bevel gear connected to a right side of the left pivot axis; a horizontal bevel gear connected to the left vertical bevel gear and the right vertical bevel gear; and a y-axis pivot axis connected to an upper end of the horizontal bevel gear and arranged perpendicular to an x-axis, wherein the left side and the right side of the pivot axis are connected using a gear or a roller such that, when the right pivot axis rotates clockwise, the left pivot axis rotates counterclockwise, and the pivot axis is arranged at a position corresponding to a hip joint of a user to enable the user to perform a movement of rotating legs vertically or leftward or rightward about the hip joint as an axis while the user securely places the legs of the user on the leg holder.
23 . The gear device of claim 19 , wherein the gear box comprises a belt pulley or a sprocket so that the gear box is attached to be used in an existing commercialized bicycle or indoor bicycle.

An exercise device of claim 22 , wherein as a ratchet bearing or a free wheel is provided on a y-axis pivot device or the arm, the gear box idles when the y-axis rotates in one direction, and the arm fixed to the y-axis rotates in the same direction as the y-axis when the y-axis rotates in the other direction.
28 . A gear device comprising:
a x-axis pivot axis divided into a right side and a left side that are aligned in a coaxial direction and spaced apart from each other; a right vertical bevel gear connected to a left side of the right x-axis pivot axis; a left vertical bevel gear connected to a right side of the left x-axis pivot axis; a right horizontal bevel gear connected to the left vertical bevel gear and the right vertical bevel gear; a y-axis pivot axis connected to an upper end of the right horizontal bevel gear and arranged perpendicular to a x-axis; a second left vertical bevel gear connected to the left x-axis pivot axis; a left horizontal bevel gear connected to the second left vertical bevel gear; and a left y-axis pivot axis connected to an upper end of the left horizontal bevel gear and arranged perpendicular to the x-axis, wherein, when the right x-axis pivot axis rotates clockwise, the left x-axis pivot axis rotates counterclockwise, and when the right y-axis pivot axis rotates clockwise, the left y-axis pivot axis rotates counterclockwise.
29 . The gear device of claim 19 or 28 , wherein the gear device comprises: a left x-axis arm having an end connected to the left x-axis pivot axis; and a right x-axis arm having an end connected to the right x-axis pivot axis.
30 . The gear device of claim 19 or 28 , wherein the gear device comprises: a left y-axis arm having an end connected to the left y-axis pivot axis; and a right y-axis arm having an end connected to the right y-axis pivot axis.
31 . A lower body exercise apparatus comprising the gear device of claim 29 or 30 , the lower body exercise apparatus comprising a leg pad connected to other ends of the left/right x-axis arms or the left/right y-axis arms.
32 . The device of claim 19 or 28 , further comprising a tension pulley on the x-axis on the left side to be connected to a resistor on the pivot axis.
33 . A gear device of claim 28 , further comprising:
a right penetrating portion through which a right x-axis pivot axis passes; a right rocker arm having an upper end portion and a lower end portion through which a y-axis pivot axis passes; and a left penetrating portion through which a left x-axis pivot axis passes, the gear device further comprising a left rocker arm having an upper end portion and a lower end portion through which the y-axis pivot axis passes, wherein the right x-axis pivot axis passes through the right penetrating portion to be rotatable, and the left x-axis pivot axis passes through the left penetrating portion to be rotatable.

A gear device of claim 33 , wherein, in a case of connecting the gear device to a lower body exercise apparatus, when a user fixes the rocker arm to a position parallel to a ground, the user is able to perform a movement of lowering downward or kicking backward about a hip joint as an axis in a starting position of pulling toward a chest, and, when the user fixes the rocker arm to a position perpendicular to the ground, the user is able to close and open a body while placing the body of the user against an end of the arm.
36 . An exercise device for physical training, comprising:
a frame I comprising a ground support I disposed parallel to the ground, a horizontal body I disposed parallel to the ground support I, and a vertical support I configured to connect the ground support I and the horizontal body I; a frame II comprising a ground support II connected to the ground support I of the frame I, a horizontal body II disposed parallel to the ground support II, and a vertical support II configured to connect the ground support II and the horizontal body II, wherein each of the horizontal body I and the horizontal body II has a plate shape, and the frame I is used as a table, and the frame II is used as a chair at normal times; a plurality of pivot axes pivotably provided to the frame I or the frame II; an arm detachably provided to the pivot axis; and an arm attaching and detaching device disposed at one end of the arm, wherein as an arm connection body having a size suitable for connecting the arm to the pivot axis by user's hands is provided, the user connects the arm, the arm attaching and detaching device, and the arm connection body to the pivot axis disposed at a position suitable for the preferred kind of exercises so that a portion of a body of the user contacts and rotates to selectively perform a muscle resistance exercise that the user wants by using a resistive body connected to the arm and the pivot axis.
37 . The exercise device of claim 33 , wherein the plurality of pivot axes are pivotably provided to the frame I or the frame II, and each of the pivot axes has one end having a hole shape or a protruding shape,
the arm attaching and detaching device has one end having a hole shape or a protruding shape, and as the arm attaching and detaching device having a size suitable for connecting the arm attaching and detaching device to the pivot axis by user's hands is provided, the user adjusts a portion of the arm attaching and detaching device, which is engaged with the pivot axis disposed at a position suitable for the preferred kind of exercises, and allows a portion of the body to contact and rotate in a start position at which a start section of the arm is adjusted to selectively perform a muscle resistance exercise that the user wants by using the resistive body connected to the arm and the pivot axis.
38 . The exercise device of claim 35 , wherein each of the pivot axis and the arm attaching and detaching device has a rectangular shape ( ) or a protruding shape.

The exercise device of claim 35 , wherein as the arm connection body having a size suitable for connecting the arm attaching and detaching device to the pivot axis by the user's hands is provided, the user adjusts a portion of the arm attaching and detaching device, which is engaged with the pivot axis disposed at a position suitable for the preferred kind of exercises, and allows a portion of the body to contact and rotate in a start position at which a start section of the arm is adjusted to selectively perform a muscle resistance exercise that the user wants by using the resistive body connected to the arm and the pivot axis.
