Abstract
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a gaming device configured to record gaming activity, a method of processing the recorded gaming activity to analyze player behavior, and a system including the gaming device. The gaming device may include a gaming display to display gaming events played on the gaming device by a player during a gaming session, a player interface panel including a plurality of gaming buttons and a game initiating button configured to initiate the gaming events, and a game processor configured to record each activity between the player and the gaming device, wherein each recorded activity is associated with a time stamp.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method comprising:
receiving, from one or more electronic gaming devices, one or more wagers and one or more game results; receiving, from the one or more electronic gaming devices, one or more player identifiers; determining, based on the one or more wagers and the one or more game results, gaming session data associated with the one or more player identifiers; storing each the gaming session data in one or more gaming session reports associated with the one or more player identifiers; associating a time stamp with the gaming session data when it is stored; analyzing the one or more gaming session reports associated with the one or more player identifiers; and based on analyzing the one or more gaming session reports associated with the one or more player identifiers, adjusting one or more game parameters of the one or more electronic gaming devices.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more electronic gaming devices comprise one or more electronic card game devices or one or more slot machines.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more player identifiers are received based on receipt, by the one or more electronic gaming devices, of one or more player identifier cards, or signals received from one or more mobile devices associated with one or more players.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more gaming session reports comprise one or more of: the one or more player identifiers, one or more historical wagers, one or more historical wins, one or more historical losses, or one or more patterns of play.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein adjusting the one or more game parameters comprises one or more of: adjusting an amount of time between stopping one or more reels of a virtual slot machine, adjusting an amount of time between cards dealt in a virtual card game, adjusting a size of an element of a display on the one or more electronic gaming devices, or adjusting a paytable associated with the one or more electronic gaming devices.
6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising determining, based on the one or more wagers, one or more patterns of play associated with the one or more player identifiers.
7 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising outputting, based on the one or more player identifiers, a bonus.
8 . One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing processor-executable instructions thereon, which, when executed by at least one processor cause the at least one processor to:
receive, from one or more electronic gaming devices, one or more wagers and one or more game results; receive, from the one or more electronic gaming devices, one or more player identifiers; determine, based on the one or more wagers and the one or more game results, gaming session data associated with the one or more player identifiers; store each the gaming session data in one or more gaming session reports associated with the one or more player identifiers; associate a time stamp with the gaming session data when it is stored; analyze the one or more gaming session reports associated with the one or more player identifiers; and based on analyzing the one or more gaming session reports associated with the one or more player identifiers, adjust one or more game parameters of the one or more electronic gaming devices.
9 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 8 , wherein the one or more electronic gaming devices comprise one or more electronic card game devices or one or more slot machines.
10 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 8 , wherein the one or more player identifiers are received based on receipt, by the one or more electronic gaming devices, of one or more player identifier cards, or signals received from one or more mobile devices associated with one or more players.
11 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 8 , wherein the one or more gaming session reports comprise one or more of: the one or more player identifiers, one or more historical wagers, one or more historical wins, one or more historical losses, or one or more patterns of play.
12 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 8 , wherein adjusting the one or more game parameters comprises one or more of: adjusting an amount of time between stopping one or more reels of a virtual slot machine, adjusting an amount of time between cards dealt in a virtual card game, adjusting a size of an element of a display on the one or more electronic gaming devices, or adjusting a paytable associated with the one or more electronic gaming devices.
13 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 8 , wherein the processor-executable instructions, when executed by the at least one processor further cause the at least one processor to determine, based on the one or more wagers, one or more patterns of play associated with one or more players.
14 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 8 , wherein the processor-executable instructions, when executed by the at least one processor further cause the at least one processor to output, based on the one or more player identifiers, a bonus.
15 . An apparatus comprising:
one or more processors; and memory storing processor-executable instruction that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to:
receive, from one or more electronic gaming devices, one or more wagers and one or more game results;
receive, from the one or more electronic gaming devices, one or more player identifiers;
determine, based on the one or more wagers and the one or more game results, gaming session data associated with the one or more player identifiers;
store each the gaming session data in one or more gaming session reports associated with the one or more player identifiers;
associate a time stamp with the gaming session data when it is stored;
analyze the one or more gaming session reports associated with the one or more player identifiers; and
based on analyzing the one or more gaming session reports associated with the one or more player identifiers, adjust one or more game parameters of the one or more electronic gaming devices.
16 . The apparatus of claim 15 , wherein the one or more electronic gaming devices comprise one or more electronic card game devices or one or more slot machines.
17 . The apparatus of claim 15 , wherein the one or more player identifiers are received based on receipt, by the one or more electronic gaming devices, of one or more player identifier cards, or signals received from one or more mobile devices associated with one or more players.
18 . The apparatus of claim 15 , wherein the one or more gaming session reports comprise one or more of: the one or more player identifiers, one or more historical wagers, one or more historical wins, one or more historical losses, or one or more patterns of play.
19 . The apparatus of claim 15 , wherein adjusting the one or more game parameters comprises one or more of: adjusting an amount of time between stopping one or more reels of a virtual slot machine, adjusting an amount of time between cards dealt in a virtual card game, adjusting a size of an element of a display on the one or more electronic gaming devices, or adjusting a paytable associated with the one or more electronic gaming devices.
20 . The apparatus of claim 15 , wherein the processor-executable instructions, when executed by the one or more processors further cause the one or more processors to determine, based on the one or more wagers, one or more patterns of play associated with the one or more player identifiers.Cited by (0)
