Isolated network slice selection

Abstract

A method is performed by a user equipment (UE) The method includes transmitting, to a network, a message for registration of the UE, the message having single network slice selection assistance information (S-NSSAI) that is configured to be added to at least one allowed network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI) after an authentication at an access and mobility management function (AMF), The method also includes receiving, from the AMF, a registration accent message having the at least one allowed NSSAI that includes the S-NSSAI for which the authentication has been completed.

1 . A method performed by a user equipment, the method comprising:
 receiving, from a core network node for mobility management, information indicating change, in subscription information of the a group of network slices forming a part of network indicated by allowed network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI), the group of network slice having a constraint to use by the UE; and   configuring the UE with the information.   
     
     
         2 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein the information is received in a UE configuration update command message. 
     
     
         3 . The method according, to  claim 1 , wherein the information includes updated single NSSAI (S-NSSAI) in the group of the network slices. 
     
     
         4 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein
 an updated group of network slices indicated by the information represents network slices which the UE can register with.   
     
     
         5 . A method performed by a core network node for mobility management, the method comprising:
 transmitting, a to user equipment (UE), information indicating change, subscription information of the UE, of a group of network slices forming a part of network slices indicated by allowed network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI), the group of network slice having a constraint for use by the UE, wherein   the information is for use by the UE to configure the UE.   
     
     
         6 . The method according to  claim 5 , wherein the information is transmitted in a UE configuration on update command message. 
     
     
         7 . The method according to  claim 5 , wherein the information includes updated single NSSAI (S-NSSAI) in the group of the network slices. 
     
     
         8 . The method according to  claim 5 , wherein
 an updated group of network slices indicated by the information represents network slices which the UE can register with.   
     
     
         9 . A user equipment (UE), comprising:
 a memory storing instructions; and   at least one processor configured to process the instructions to:
 receive, from a core network node for mobility management, information indicating change, in subscription information of the UE, of a group of network slices forming a part of network slices indicated by allowed network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI), the group of network slice having a constraint for use by the UE; and 
 configure the UE with the information. 
   
     
     
         10 . A core network node for mobility management, the core network node comprising:
 a memory storing instructions, and   at least one processor configured to process the instructions to:
 transmit, to a user equipment (UE), information indicating change, in subscription information of the UE, of a group of network slices forming a part of network slices indicated by allowed network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI), the group of network slice having a constraint for use by the UE, wherein 
   the information is for use by the UE to configure the UE.
