Abstract

An exhaled air capture and air cleaning system comprising an exhaled air collector and an air purification chamber providing the ability to capture, transport, and clean exhaled air.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An device for cleaning air, wherein the device collects and cleans a mixture of room air and exhaled air, wherein the mixture of the room air and the exhaled air that is collected and cleaned is at least one of directed downward, deflected downward, or pulled downward, into an air purification chamber, and wherein the air purification chamber is located beneath the bottom of an electronic display screen or a housing of the electronic display screen.

2 . The device for cleaning air of claim 1 , wherein the electronic display screen is associated with a monitor, a laptop computer, a tablet computer, a computer screen, an exercise machine, a phone screen, a gambling machine, or a television.

3 . The device for cleaning air of claim 1 , wherein the air purification chamber comprises one or more of a filter, a high efficiency particulate air (“HEPA”) filter, a carbon filter, an activated carbon filter, an ultrasonic generator, an ionizing filter, a germicidal light, a means for chemical microbicidal purification, a microbicidal purification light, a means for microbicidal radiation, an ultraviolet (“UV”) light, a UVC light, a microbicidal material, or a microbicidal heat source.

4 . The device for cleaning air of claim 1 , wherein cleaned air exhausted by the air purification chamber is one of directed downwards towards a floor or a ground, backwards and away from a back of the electronic display screen, or to right and left sides of the air purification chamber.

5 . The device for cleaning air of claim 1 , wherein a length of the device is greater than a height or a depth of the device.

6 . The device for cleaning air of claim 1 , wherein the device comprises a plurality of fans.

7 . The device for cleaning air of claim 1 , wherein the air purification chamber comprises a grate, wherein the grate covers an opening of the air purification chamber where the mixture of the room air and the exhaled air enters the air purification chamber.

8 . The device for cleaning air of claim 1 , wherein the device comprises an exhaled air catch basin located above and/or adjacent to an opening of the air purification chamber where the mixture of the room air and the exhaled air enters the air purification chamber.

9 . The device for cleaning air of claim 1 , wherein the device comprises an air suction intake that moves the mixture of the room air and the exhaled air into the air purification chamber.

10 . The device for cleaning air of claim 1 , wherein the device is releasably attachable to the housing of the electronic display screen.
