Claims

Abstract

The present disclosure is directed to a branched endoprosthesis comprising a graft component and at least one support component. In various embodiments, the branched endoprosthesis comprises a body portion and a plurality of leg portions, wherein the legs are in an aligned configuration for ease of cannulation. In various embodiments, at least one leg is in an open configuration for ease of cannulation. Cannulation methods are also described.

         15 . A branched endoprosthesis comprising:
 a body having a first leg and a second leg extending longitudinally therefrom, the body being deliverable to a position within a vessel while in a delivery configuration and being at least partially deployable between the delivery configuration and a deployed configuration; and   a restraint releasably coupling the first and second legs, the restraint configured to minimize relative movement between the first and second legs to facilitate cannulation of the first leg or the second leg.   
     
     
         16 . The branched endoprosthesis of  claim 15 , further comprising a sheath surrounding the body and releasably restraining the body toward the delivery configuration. 
     
     
         17 . The branched endoprosthesis of  claim 16 , wherein the sheath is a longitudinally extending structure with a lumen extending therethrough. 
     
     
         18 . The branched endoprosthesis of  claim 16 , wherein the sheath comprises one or more of: nylon, polycarbonate, polyethylene, polypropylene, polytetrafluoroethylene, polyvinyl chloride, polyurethane, or polysiloxane. 
     
     
         19 . The branched endoprosthesis of  claim 16 , wherein the sheath comprises stainless steel. 
     
     
         20 . The branched endoprosthesis of  claim 16 , wherein the sheath has opposite sides that are releasably held together by an elongate member to restrain the body in the delivery configuration. 
     
     
         21 . The branched endoprosthesis of  claim 20 , wherein the sheath has a plurality of holes through which the elongated member extends to releasably hold together the opposite sides of the sheath. 
     
     
         22 . The branched endoprosthesis of  claim 16 , wherein the sheath is partially removable from a distal portion of the body to deploy the body to the deployed configuration. 
     
     
         23 . The branched endoprosthesis of  claim 15 , the body further comprising at least one graft component and at least one support component having one or more apices. 
     
     
         24 . The branched endoprosthesis of  claim 15 , wherein the first leg is substantially axially longer than the second leg. 
     
     
         25 . The branched endoprosthesis of  claim 15 , wherein the first leg and the second leg are structurally biased to angle apart in a Y configuration. 
     
     
         26 . The branched endoprosthesis of  claim 15 , further comprising a plurality of serially aligned support components adapted to hold one of the legs open for the cannulation. 
     
     
         27 . The branched endoprosthesis of  claim 15 , further comprising a radiopaque marker at a distal end of at least one of the legs. 
     
     
         28 . The branched endoprosthesis of  claim 15 , wherein the endoprosthesis has a cross-sectional profile of less than 18 Fr. 
     
     
         29 . The branched endoprosthesis of  claim 15 , wherein at least one of the body, the first leg, or the second leg remains undeployed when the body is between the delivery configuration and the deployed configuration. 
     
     
         30 . The branched endoprosthesis of  claim 15 , wherein the restraint is a tether that is releasable to deploy the body to a fully deployed configuration. 
     
     
         31 . The branched endoprosthesis of  claim 30 , further comprising a sheath surrounding the body and releasably restraining the body toward the delivery configuration, wherein a portion of the tether is tucked under one or more undeployed portions of the sheath. 
     
     
         32 . The branched endoprosthesis of  claim 30 , the body further comprising at least one graft component and at least one support component having one or more apices, wherein a portion of the tether is routed under one of the one or more apices of the at least one support component. 
     
     
         33 . The branched endoprosthesis of  claim 30 , the body further comprising at least one graft component and at least one support component having one or more apices, wherein a portion of the tether is routed between one of the one or more apices of the at least one support component and a wall of the graft component. 
     
     
         34 . The branched endoprosthesis of  claim 30 , the body further comprising a first graft wall associated with the first leg, a second graft wall associated with the second leg, a first set of apices associated with the first leg, and a second set of apices associated with the second leg,
 wherein a first portion of the tether is routed between the first graft wall and at least one of the first set of apices, and a second portion of the tether is routed between the second graft wall and at least one of the second set of apices.
