Abstract

An accessory component assembly is provided that includes a frame, a first vehicle accessory, and a second vehicle accessory. The frame is configured to support vehicle accessories. The first vehicle accessory is mounted to the frame. The second vehicle accessory is mounted to the frame. The frame is configured to simultaneously couple the first vehicle accessory and the second vehicle accessory to a chassis of a vehicle such that the accessory component assembly can be functionally coupled to at least two other vehicle sub-systems.

         2 . An accessory component system, comprising:
 a pump, a compressor, or a fan;   a frame assembly including a frame unit configured to support vehicle accessories and a plurality of frame assembly mounts;   a first vehicle accessory mounted to the frame unit and electrically coupled to an inverter; and   a second vehicle accessory mounted to the frame unit and being an electrical component;   wherein the plurality of frame assembly mounts are configured to simultaneously couple the frame unit and the vehicle accessories supported thereby to a chassis of a vehicle such that the vehicle accessories can be functionally coupled to at least two other vehicle sub-systems, and when so coupled the frame assembly is not rotatable relative to the chassis of the vehicle.   
     
     
         3 . The accessory component system of  claim 2 , wherein the first vehicle accessory comprises a power distribution unit. 
     
     
         4 . The accessory component system of  claim 3 , wherein the power distribution unit is an accessory power distribution unit electrically coupled with a plurality of electrical components in a pre-installed configuration. 
     
     
         5 . The accessory component system of  claim 2 , wherein the frame unit has a first area at least partially defined by a first tray and a second area at least partially defined by a second tray. 
     
     
         6 . The accessory component system of  claim 2 , wherein the second vehicle accessory is a power converter. 
     
     
         7 . The accessory component system of  claim 2 , wherein the pump is a coolant pump or a power steering fluid pump. 
     
     
         8 . The accessory component system of  claim 2 , further comprising an accessory motor. 
     
     
         9 . The accessory component system of  claim 2 , wherein the inverter is mounted to the frame unit separately from the first vehicle accessory. 
     
     
         10 . An accessory component system comprising:
 a pump, a compressor, or a fan;   a frame assembly including a frame unit configured to support vehicle accessories and a plurality of frame assembly mounts;   a first vehicle accessory mounted to the frame unit and being coupled to an inverter; and   a second vehicle accessory mounted to the frame unit and being an electrical component;   wherein the plurality of frame assembly mounts are configured to simultaneously couple the frame unit and the first and second vehicle accessories supported thereby to a chassis of a vehicle such that the first and second vehicle accessories can be functionally coupled to at least two other vehicle sub-systems, and when so coupled the frame assembly is not rotatable relative to the chassis of the vehicle.   
     
     
         11 . The accessory component system of  claim 10 , wherein the inverter is electrically coupled to the first vehicle accessory. 
     
     
         12 . The accessory component system of  claim 10 , wherein the accessory component system is configured such that the first vehicle accessory and the inverter can be pre-assembled and coupled with the frame assembly prior to being simultaneous coupled to a chassis of a vehicle. 
     
     
         13 . The accessory component system of  claim 10 , wherein the compressor is an air compressor. 
     
     
         14 . The accessory component system of  claim 10 , wherein the first vehicle accessory comprises a power distribution unit. 
     
     
         15 . The accessory component system of  claim 10 , wherein the frame assembly has a first area at least partially defined by a first tray and a second area at least partially defined by a second tray. 
     
     
         16 . The accessory component system of  claim 10 , wherein the second vehicle accessory is a power converter. 
     
     
         17 . An accessory component system, comprising:
 a pump, a compressor, or a fan;   a frame assembly including a frame unit configured to support vehicle accessories and a plurality of frame assembly mounts;   an inverter electrically coupled to a first vehicle accessory, the first vehicle accessory mounted to the frame unit; and   a second vehicle accessory mounted to the frame unit and being an electrical component;   wherein the plurality of frame assembly mounts are configured to simultaneously couple the frame unit and the first and second vehicle accessories supported thereby to a chassis of a vehicle such that the first and second vehicle accessories can be functionally coupled to at least two other vehicle sub-systems, and when so coupled the frame assembly is not rotatable relative to the chassis of the vehicle.   
     
     
         18 . The accessory component system of  claim 17 , wherein the first vehicle accessory comprises a power distribution unit. 
     
     
         19 . The accessory component system of  claim 17 , wherein the frame assembly has a first area at least partially defined by a first tray and a second area at least partially defined by a second tray. 
     
     
         20 . The accessory component system of  claim 17 , wherein the second vehicle accessory is a power converter. 
     
     
         21 . The accessory component system of  claim 17 , wherein the inverter and the first vehicle accessory are pre-assembled and coupled with the frame unit to be moved together into a vehicle front end compartment. 
     
     
         22 . The accessory component system of  claim 21 , wherein the inverter and the first vehicle accessory are mounted to the frame unit in separate locations.
