Claims

Abstract

A method, where the method includes discovering an event where at least one device is offline and instantiating an emergency mode causing the at least one device to permit data or message aggregation. The method further includes defining a community of devices including an identity of the at least one device and establishing communication between the at least one device and a mobile aggregation device. The method further includes when the mobile aggregation device is in communication with the at least one device, aggregating a payload of a message or data from the at least one device and the community having an artificial intelligence instantiated as a virtual network function or network device, the community communicating with the mobile aggregation device to receive data from the at least one device, and the artificial intelligence being configured to assess the event based on the data obtained by the mobile aggregation device.

1 . A method, comprising:
 identifying, by a processing system including a processor, an emergency event in a first region served by a first tower and in which each mobile device of a plurality of mobile devices is offline;   based upon the identifying the emergency event, transmitting, by the processing system, a parked signal to the first tower, wherein the parked signal indicates a scheduled time at which a mobile aggregation device is to arrive at the first tower, and wherein the transmitting enables a notification to be provided from the first tower to the plurality of mobile devices regarding the scheduled time; and   after arrival of the mobile aggregation device at the first region, establishing, by the processing system, communications between the mobile aggregation device and a first mobile device of the plurality of mobile devices to aggregate a payload of undelivered messages from the first mobile device.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 moving the mobile aggregation device to establish communication with a receiving site in communication with a network; and   deploying the payload to the network via the receiving site.   
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the establishing the communications between the mobile aggregation device and the first mobile device comprises moving the mobile aggregation device into communication with the first tower, and wherein the first tower is in communication with the first mobile device. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising instantiating an emergency mode based upon the identifying the emergency event. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the parked signal further includes a command that triggers one or more of the plurality of mobile devices to turn on a global positioning system (GPS) radio. 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the parked signal further comprises a survey signal or a query signal. 
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising generating a representation of the emergency event based at least in part on the communications between the mobile aggregation device and the first mobile device. 
     
     
         8 . A non-transitory machine-readable medium, comprising executable instructions that, when executed by a processing system including a processor, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising:
 detecting an event in a region served by a tower and in which each mobile device of a plurality of mobile devices is offline;   responsive to the detecting, providing a parked signal to the tower, wherein the parked signal indicates a time at which a mobile aggregation device is to arrive at the region, and wherein the providing enables a notification to be provided from the tower to the plurality of mobile devices regarding the time; and   after the providing, establishing communications between the mobile aggregation device and a first mobile device of the plurality of mobile devices to aggregate a payload of undelivered messages from the first mobile device.   
     
     
         9 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of  claim 8 , wherein the operations further comprise:
 moving the mobile aggregation device to establish communication with a receiving site in communication with a network; and   deploying the payload to the network via the receiving site.   
     
     
         10 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of  claim 8 , wherein the establishing the communications between the mobile aggregation device and the first mobile device comprises moving the mobile aggregation device into communication with the tower, and wherein the tower is in communication with the first mobile device. 
     
     
         11 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of  claim 8 , wherein the operations further comprise instantiating an emergency mode based upon the detecting the event. 
     
     
         12 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of  claim 8 , wherein the parked signal further includes a command that triggers one or more of the plurality of mobile devices to turn on a global positioning system (GPS) radio. 
     
     
         13 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of  claim 8 , wherein the parked signal further comprises a survey signal or a query signal. 
     
     
         14 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of  claim 8 , wherein the operations further comprise generating a representation of the event based at least in part on the communications between the mobile aggregation device and the first mobile device. 
     
     
         15 . A device, comprising:
 a processing system including a processor; and   a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processing system, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising:   determining that an emergency event has occurred in a region served by a tower and in which each mobile device of a plurality of mobile devices is offline;   based on the determining, causing a parked signal to be transmitted to the tower, wherein the parked signal indicates a scheduled time at which a mobile aggregation device is to arrive at the region, and wherein the causing enables a notification to be provided from the tower to the plurality of mobile devices regarding the scheduled time; and   after arrival of the mobile aggregation device at the tower, establishing communications between the mobile aggregation device and each mobile device of the plurality of mobile devices to aggregate payloads of undelivered messages from the plurality of mobile devices.   
     
     
         16 . The device of  claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise:
 moving the mobile aggregation device to establish communication with a receiving site in communication with a network; and   deploying the payloads to the network via the receiving site.   
     
     
         17 . The device of  claim 15 , wherein the establishing the communications comprises moving the mobile aggregation device into communication with the tower, and wherein the tower is in communication with the plurality of mobile devices. 
     
     
         18 . The device of  claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise instantiating an emergency mode based upon the determining. 
     
     
         19 . The device of  claim 15 , wherein the parked signal further includes a command that triggers one or more of the plurality of mobile devices to turn on a global positioning system (GPS) radio. 
     
     
         20 . The device of  claim 15 , wherein the parked signal further comprises a survey signal or a query signal.
