Insert for holding an insulating material of a transport container

Abstract

Insert for accommodating an insulating material of a transport container, comprising a lid compartment, a base compartment and at least one side wall which comprises a continuous accommodating compartment for an insulating material, which accommodating compartment completely encloses a receiving space delimited by the top compartment and the base compartment.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . Insert for holding an insulating material of a transport container, comprising a lid compartment, a bottom compartment and at least one side wall which comprises a continuous holding compartment for an insulating material, which holding compartment in a laterally fully surrounding fashion encloses a holding space bounded by the lid compartment and the bottom compartment. 
     
     
         2 . Insert according to  claim 1 , wherein, in the intended use, the internal side surfaces of the side wall are directly adjacent to each other and the external side surfaces of the side wall are directly adjacent to each other. 
     
     
         3 . Insert according to  claim 1 , wherein the side wall comprises exactly four sides. 
     
     
         4 . Insert according to  claim 1 , wherein, in the intended use, the complementarily formed abutting surfaces of the side wall each lie on top of each other under a 45° cutting plane. 
     
     
         5 . Insert according  claim 1 , wherein, in the intended use, the lid compartment and the bottom compartment each adjoin a complementarily formed contact surface of the side wall at an angle greater than 45°. 
     
     
         6 . Insert according to  claim 1 , wherein the lid compartment, the bottom compartment and the side wall each comprise an opening for introducing and removing an insulating material. 
     
     
         7 . Insert according  claim 1 , wherein the lid compartment and the bottom compartment are each formed in a cuboid shape. 
     
     
         8 . Transport system comprising an outer carton with an insert according to  claim 1 . 
     
     
         9 . Transport system according to  claim 8 , wherein the insulating material in the insert is selected from the following insulation materials:
 paper shavings, corrugated cardboard, cellulose (loose or in paper form), honeycomb board, molded fiber   jute, hemp, flax, cork granules, cork board, reed, sea grass, straw, meadow grass, coconut fiber, rice husks, grain husks   sheep wool   wood wool, wood fiber, wood chips, wood fiber board.   
     
     
         10 . Transport system according to  claim 8 , wherein the insulating material in the insert includes a vacuum insulation element. 
     
     
         11 . Transport system according to  claim 8 , further comprising at least one cooling element.
