Abstract

A debris-collecting apparatus includes a mobile frame, an input portion configured to receive incoming air and debris, and a bagging system having a porous bag and a dust skirt surrounding the porous bag.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A debris-collecting apparatus, comprising:
a mobile frame; an input portion configured to receive incoming air and debris; and a bagging system including:
 a porous bag; and
a dust skirt surrounding the porous bag.

2 . The debris-collecting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the porous bag is formed from a different material than the dust skirt.

3 . The debris-collecting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the porous bag is removably coupled to the dust skirt by fasteners.

4 . The debris-collecting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the dust skirt includes a first layer and a second layer.

5 . The debris-collecting apparatus of claim 4 , wherein the first layer of the dust skirt includes an inner face and an outer face.

6 . The debris-collecting apparatus of claim 5 , wherein the inner face is electrically charged so that debris passing through the air permeable bag is attracted to the first layer.

7 . The debris-collecting apparatus of claim 5 , wherein the outer face is not electrically charged.

8 . The debris-collecting apparatus of claim 5 , wherein the outer face is coupled to the second layer by an adhesive.

9 . The debris-collecting apparatus of claim 4 , wherein the first layer is coupled to the second layer by an adhesive.

10 . The debris-collecting apparatus of claim 4 , wherein the first layer is formed from a different material than second layer.

         11 . A debris-collecting apparatus, comprising:
a mobile frame; an input portion configured to receive incoming air and debris; and a bagging system including:
 a dust skirt; and
an air permeable bag nested in a cavity of the dust skirt, wherein the dust skirt is removably coupled to the air permeable bag using fasteners, and wherein the dust skirt is formed by a first layer coupled to a second layer with an adhesive.

12 . The debris-collecting apparatus of claim 11 , wherein the air permeable bag is formed from a different material than the dust skirt.

13 . The debris-collecting apparatus of claim 11 , wherein the first layer of the dust skirt includes an inner face and an outer face.

14 . The debris-collecting apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the inner face is electrically charged so that debris passing through the air permeable bag is attracted to the first layer.

15 . The debris-collecting apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the outer face is not electrically charged.

16 . The debris-collecting apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the outer face is coupled to the second layer by an adhesive.

17 . The debris-collecting apparatus of claim 11 , wherein the first layer is formed from a different material than second layer.

         18 . A debris-collecting apparatus, comprising:
a mobile frame; a filter; an input portion configured to receive incoming air and debris; and a bagging system including:
 an air permeable bag; and
a dust skirt located radially outward from the air permeable bag.

19 . The debris-collecting apparatus of claim 18 , wherein the dust skirt includes a first layer and a second layer.

20 . The debris-collecting apparatus of claim 19 , wherein the first layer is formed from a different material than second layer.
