Abstract
A sound suppressor is provided for a portable firearm, more particularly a pistol. The sound suppressor includes a fastening rail for fastening the sound suppressor to the portable firearm, a sound suppressor insert, designed to reduce sound emissions when a shot is fired, being arranged on the fastening rail and being designed as one piece with the fastening rail.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A silencer ( 10 ) for a portable firearm ( 90 ), in particular a pistol, comprising
an attachment rail ( 30 ) for attaching the silencer ( 10 ) to the portable firearm ( 90 ), a silencer housing ( 11 ), and a silencer insert ( 50 ) designed to reduce sound emissions when a shot is fired, wherein the silencer insert ( 50 ) is arranged on the attachment rail ( 30 ) and is designed in one part with the attachment rail ( 30 ).
2 . The silencer according to claim 1 , wherein the silencer insert ( 50 ) is arranged on the attachment rail ( 30 ) in such a way that the attachment rail ( 30 ) protrudes in the axial direction at the end of the silencer insert ( 50 ) facing the firearm barrel ( 91 ).
3 . The silencer according to claim 1 , wherein the silencer housing ( 11 ) can be detachably attached to the attachment rail ( 30 ) and/or to the silencer insert ( 50 ).
4 . The silencer according to claim 3 , wherein the silencer housing ( 11 )
has a substantially U-shaped profile, and has a front (VE) and/or a rear (HE) end wall with which the profile is terminated, wherein an opening ( 25 ) is provided in the front and/or in the rear end wall, which opening is arranged substantially coaxially with a shot channel ( 20 ) formed in the silencer insert ( 50 ), when the silencer housing ( 11 ) is attached to the attachment rail ( 30 ) and/or to the silencer insert ( 50 ), the shot channel ( 20 ) of the silencer insert ( 50 ) extends substantially coaxially with the firearm barrel ( 91 ) when the silencer is attached to the portable firearm ( 90 ).
5 . The silencer according to claim 3 , wherein the silencer insert ( 50 ) is surrounded in the circumferential direction by the silencer housing ( 11 ) and the attachment rail ( 30 ) in a pressure-tight and gas-tight manner when the silencer housing ( 11 ) is attached to the attachment rail ( 30 ) and/or to the silencer insert ( 50 ).
6 . The silencer according to claim 1 , wherein the attachment rail ( 30 ) extends over the entire length of the silencer insert ( 50 ).
7 . The silencer according to claim 3 , wherein the silencer housing ( 11 ) comprises two plates ( 40 ), wherein the one plate ( 40 a ) can be attached to a longitudinal side of the silencer insert ( 50 ), and wherein the other plate ( 40 b ) can be attached to the longitudinal side opposite this longitudinal side.
8 . The silencer according to claim 7 , wherein a longitudinal side of the silencer insert ( 50 ) is designed to be pressure-tight and gas-tight, and wherein the silencer insert ( 50 ) is surrounded in the circumferential direction in a pressure-tight and gas-tight manner by the two plates ( 40 ), the attachment rail ( 30 ) and the pressure-tight and gas-tight longitudinal side.
9 . The silencer according to claim 4 , wherein the silencer housing ( 11 ) has guide grooves or guide springs which correspond to guide springs or guide grooves provided on the attachment rail ( 30 ) and/or on the silencer insert ( 50 ), wherein the guide grooves and guide springs are designed to push the silencer housing ( 11 ) onto the attachment rail ( 30 ) and/or onto the silencer insert ( 50 ).
10 . The silencer according to claim 3 , wherein the silencer housing ( 11 ) can be locked to the silencer insert ( 50 ) and/or to the attachment rail ( 30 ) with locking means ( 45 ), in particular screws.
11 . The silencer according to claim 2 , wherein the attachment rail ( 30 ) protruding in the axial direction has a substantially U-shaped profile at least in portions.
12 . The silencer according to claim 11 , wherein a rear end portion ( 35 ) of the attachment rail ( 30 ) is designed in such a way that it rests, at least in portions, in a form-fitting manner on a trigger guard of the portable firearm ( 90 ) when the silencer is attached to the portable firearm ( 90 ), wherein the rear end portion ( 35 ) forms a supporting surface and the trigger guard of the portable firearm ( 90 ) forms a counter supporting surface, which together prevent the silencer from tilting downward when a shot is fired.
13 . The silencer according to claim 11 , wherein the attachment rail ( 30 ) has:
a first longitudinal guide ( 32 ) on the inner surface of a first side wall ( 31 ) of the U-shaped profile of the attachment rail ( 30 ), and a second longitudinal guide ( 32 ) on the inner surface of a second side wall ( 31 ) of the U-shaped profile of the attachment rail ( 30 ).
14 . The silencer according to claim 13 , wherein the U-shaped profile of the attachment rail ( 30 ) and the longitudinal guides ( 32 ) are designed in such a way that they correspond to a mounting rail ( 94 ) of the portable firearm ( 90 ) in order to push the attachment rail ( 30 ) onto the mounting rail ( 94 ).
15 . The silencer according to claim 2 , wherein the attachment rail ( 30 ) protruding in the axial direction is adapted to be attached to a locking piece ( 93 ) of the portable firearm.
16 . A portable firearm ( 90 ), in particular a pistol, with a silencer ( 10 ) according to claim 1 .Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
