Abstract
A method and/or system that can be implemented on a computing device or tables or board game or otherwise uses a rule set to evaluate data about a situation and actors in order to provide advice regarding strategies for influencing actors and/or other outputs.

1 . A computer implemented method operable for automatically recommending influence actions on a computer, the method comprising:
receiving, by the computer, situation data regarding one or more situations and one or more desired outcomes; receiving, by the computer, actor data regarding one or more actors that each have a relationship to the one or more situations, wherein the actor data comprises, for one or more of the actors, one or more values indicating one or more relationships of the one or more actors to the one or more desired outcomes, wherein the one or more values define a multi-dimensional space; placing, in a multi-dimensional space on the computer, data indicators representing the one or more actors according to the one or more values for the one or more actors; storing, on the computer, data regarding the one or more situations and one or more actors; selecting, using the situation data values, influence actions applicable to actors from a predetermined recommendations database by applying rules to said values, wherein the predetermined recommendations database has a predetermined set of influence actions applicable the one or more actors and each influence action being directed to adjusting the relationships of the one or more actors to the one or more situations toward the desired outcomes; and presenting, on a display of the computer, one or more recommended influence actions applicable to the one or more actors.

The method of claim 1 , wherein receiving the situation data further comprises one of receiving the situation data from an input device of the computer, receiving the situation data indirectly from the input device through an analytical process and receiving the situation data from an analytical process on stored data.

The method of claim 1 , wherein receiving the data about one or more actors further comprises one of receiving the data about the one or more actors from an input device of the computer, receiving the data about the one or more actors indirectly from the input device through an analytical process and receiving the data about the one or more actors from an analytical process on stored data.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the data about the one or more actors further comprises one of values related to psychological information regarding the one or more actors and an indicator of the values related to psychological information regarding the one or more actors.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more actors are one of individuals, a group of individuals and automated mechanisms in use by said actors.

The method of claim 1 , wherein the multi-dimensional space is represented in a data representation suitable to the particulars of that space, such as a multi-dimensional array, a set of hash tables, a database, a network graph, or any other suitable method said placing of indicators within said multi-dimensional space is performed using suitable methods for the representation of said space said storing of data is performed using suitable methods for the storage of said values in said representation of said space.

The method of claim 1 further comprising updating the pre-determined recommendations database over time based on additional information discovered or derived from external information sources and/or receiving of additional situation data and/or actor data and/or from situation data subsequent to the application of said influence actions each directed to adjusting said relationships of said actors to said situations toward said desired outcomes.
8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein presenting one or more recommended influence actions further comprises is presented through automated means to mechanisms performing additional actions, such as inducing and/or suppressing of information presented.

The method of claim 1 , wherein presenting the one or more recommended influence actions applicable to the one or more actors further comprises presenting, on the display of the computer, one or more recommendations and an interpretations of the basis for each decision-making regarding the recommended influence actions.
10 . The method of claim 1 , wherein presenting of one or more recommended influence actions applicable to the one or more actors further comprises displaying, on the display of the computer, recommended influence actions in one or more presentation forms associated with different one or more desired outcomes.
11 . A computer system that is operable for automatically recommending influence actions comprising:
a processor; a storage area connected to the processor configured to store and retrieve data; a display connected to the processor; an input interface and an output interface connected to the processor configured to allow the processor to receive an input from the input interface and send an output to the output interface; the input interface being configured to receive situation data regarding one or more situations and one or more desired outcomes and to receive actor data regarding one or more actors that each have a relationship to the one or more situations, wherein the actor data comprises, for one or more of the actors, one or more values indicating one or more relationships of the one or more actors to the one or more desired outcomes, wherein the one or more values define a multi-dimensional space; the processor being configured to place, in the multi-dimensional space, one or more data indicators representing the one or more actors according to the one or more values for the one or more actors; the storage area being configured to store the one or more data indicators regarding the one or more situations and the one or more actors wherein the storage area includes a predetermined recommendations database comprising a predetermined set of influence actions applicable to one or more of the actors, each influence actions directed to adjusting the relationships of the one or more actors towards the one or more desired outcomes; and the display being configured to present the one or more recommended influence actions applicable to the one or more actors.

The system of claim 11 , wherein the processor is further configured to one of receive the situation data directly from the input device, receive the situation data indirectly from the input device through an analytical process and receive the situation data from an analytical process on stored data.
13 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the processor is further configured to one of receive the actors data directly from the input device, receive the actors data indirectly from the input device through an analytical process and receive the actors data from an analytical process on stored data.
14 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the data about the one or more actors further comprises one of values related to psychological information regarding the one or more actors and an indicator of the values related to psychological information regarding the one or more actors.
15 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the one or more actors are one of individuals, a group of individuals and automated mechanisms in use by said actors.

The system of claim 11 , wherein the multi-dimensional space is represented in a data representation suitable to the particulars of that space, such as a multi-dimensional array, a set of hash tables, a database, a network graph, or any other suitable method said placing of indicators within said multi-dimensional space is performed using suitable methods for the representation of said space said storing of data is performed using suitable methods for the storage of said values in said representation of said space.

The system of claim 11 , wherein the pre-determined recommendations database is updated over time based on additional information discovered or derived from external information sources and/or receiving of additional situation data and/or actor data and/or from situation data subsequent to the application of said influence actions each directed to adjusting said relationships of said actors to said situations toward said desired outcomes.
18 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the display is further configured to present the recommended influence actions through automated means to mechanisms performing additional actions, such as inducing and/or suppressing of information presented.
19 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the display is further configured to present one or more recommendations and an interpretations of the basis for each decision-making regarding the recommended influence actions.
