Abstract

A system may comprise a looper. The looper may further comprise an arrangement module. The arrangement module may arrange audio data into at least one of the following: a song comprised of at least one song part, at least one track within the at least one song part, and at least one layer within the at least one track. The system may also comprise an output module, the output module may be configured to enable playback of the arranged audio data. The system may also comprise an input module that may be configured to record subsequent audio data during the playback of the arranged audio data from the output module. The system may also comprise a processing module configured to modify playback of the arranged audio data. The system may also comprise an external device configured to control operation of at least one module associated with the looper.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
The following is claimed:

         1 . A system comprising:
a looper, the looper further comprising:
 a processing module,
an arrangement module, wherein the arranging module is configured to arrange audio data into at least one of the following:
a song comprised of at least one song part,
at least one track within the at least one song part, and
 at least one layer within the at least one track;

an output module, the output module configured to enable playback of the arranged audio data,
an input module, the input module configured to record subsequent audio data during the playback of the arranged audio data from the output module, and
a processing module, the processing module configured to modify playback of the arranged audio data; and
an external device, the external device configured to control operation of at least one module associated with the looper.

2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the processing module is further configured to capture metadata during the playback of the arranged audio data; and
package the subsequent audio data with at least one of: each track of each song part in the arranged audio data, and the captured metadata.

3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the processing module is configured to:
overdub a selected layer within a selected track, wherein the overdub by the processing module comprises at least one of the following: extend the selected layer, extend selected track associated with an additional layer, and extend a selected song part comprising the selected track associated with the added layer.

4 . The system of claim 3 , wherein the processing module is configured to modify at least one of:
duration of the additional layer, and quantized increment of the additional layer relative to the selected song part comprising the selected track associated with the additional layer; wherein layers in the track are extended to the same duration as the additional layer by the processing module.

5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the arranging module receives processed audio data from the processing module processing module receiving the audio data from the input module prior to arranging the audio data.

6 . The system of claim 5 , wherein the input module is configured to receive the audio data from at least one of the following:
a wired signal, a wireless signal, an analog signal, and digital signal.

7 . The system of claim 5 , wherein the input module is configured to receive the audio data from a centralized server accessed by the external device.

8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the input module is further configured to capture video data associated with the audio data.

9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the input module is configured to capture the video data in parallel with recording an audio signal.

10 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the input module is further configured to capture the video data in response to a trigger on the external device.

11 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the trigger on the external device corresponds to a command to record the audio signal on the looper.

12 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the external device plays back the audio data from the processing module.

13 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the external device plays back the video segment from the processing module.

14 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the input module captures a performance video segment associated with a performance mode track.

15 . The system of claim 14 , wherein the playback module is plays back the video segment corresponding to each track within the song.

16 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the playback module is displays the captured video segment concurrently with the playback of each corresponding track within the song.

17 . The system of claim 16 , wherein the playback module is configured to:
display each captured video segment corresponding to each track currently playing, and hide each captured video segment corresponding to each track not currently playing.

18 . The system of claim 17 , wherein the processing module renders the video data associated with the audio data into a composite multimedia file.

19 . The system of claim 17 , wherein the processing module renders each captured video segment in accordance to the configuration of the playback module.

20 . The system of claim 18 , wherein the processing module is configured to publish at least one of the following: the at least one layer, the at least one track, the at least one song part, the at least on song, the performance mode track, and the composite multimedia file.
