Claims

Abstract

A method for providing, to a consumer in a mobile device, a digital content to be displayed on the mobile device, is disclosed. The method includes requesting non-personally identifiable information from a consumer in a pixel script of the advertisement payload, tracking an event trigger in the pixel script, the event trigger configured to fire upon completion of a selected portion of the advertising payload, and modifying a consumer account based on the event trigger and the non-personally identifiable information. The method also includes providing an updated feature of the consumer account to a retail store when a configured rule in the pixel script is satisfied. A system including a memory storing instructions to cause the system to execute the above method is also provided.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A computer-implemented method, comprising:
 receiving, in an in-store media platform, an updated feature of an account associated with a consumer, the updated feature resulting from an event trigger invoked in a pixel script, the pixel script embedded in a digital content displayed on a mobile device or desktop device for the consumer;   allowing the consumer to receive a value-added certificate based on the updated feature;   identifying a location of the consumer within a retail store associated with the in-store media platform;   instructing, to a client device closest to the location of the consumer, to print the value-added certificate, based on the updated feature of the account associate with the consumer; and   requesting, to an online media server, to retarget the digital content to a mobile or desktop device for the consumer upon redemption of the value-added certificate for the consumer.   
     
     
         2 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , wherein receiving an updated feature of an account associated with a consumer comprises providing the pixel script in a targeted banner, a video advertisement, or an audio advertisement in the digital content displayed on the mobile or desktop device for the consumer. 
     
     
         3 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , further comprising receiving a request for accessing a consumer’s frequent shopper loyalty account from a consumer device at a point of sale in the retail store. 
     
     
         4 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , wherein requesting to print a personalized coupon for the consumer comprises instructing a printer communicatively coupled to the in-store media platform, to print a coupon for an account associated with the consumer. 
     
     
         5 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , further comprising updating an account associated with the consumer when the consumer redeems the value-added certificate, digital promotion, or a coupon associated with the consumer packaged good. 
     
     
         6 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , wherein receiving an updated feature of an account associated with a consumer comprises correlating an identifier for the mobile or desktop device for the consumer with a frequent shopper identification for the retail store. 
     
     
         7 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , further comprising instructing a retail server to update the account associated with the consumer upon redemption of the value-added certificate. 
     
     
         8 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , further comprising requesting, to the online media server, to target a new digital content associated with a different product available at the retail store to the mobile or desktop device for the consumer upon redemption of the value-added certificate. 
     
     
         9 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , further comprising requesting the online media server to provide the digital content to the consumer upon correlating a mobile identifier for a consumer mobile device within the retail store with a frequent shopper identifier for a retail chain prior to receiving the updated feature of an account associated with the consumer. 
     
     
         10 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , wherein instructing to print the value-added certificate comprises providing a scanning barcode to the mobile device for scanning at a point-of-sale of the retail store, to redeem the value-added certificate. 
     
     
         11 . A system, comprising:
 one or more processors; and   a memory storing instructions which, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the system to:
 receive, in an in-store media platform, an updated feature of an account associated with a consumer, the updated feature resulting from an event trigger invoked in a pixel script, the pixel script embedded in a digital content displayed on a mobile device or desktop device for the consumer, 
 allow the consumer to receive a value-added certificate based on the updated feature, 
 identify a location of the consumer within a retail store associated with the in-store media platform, 
 instruct, to a client device closest to the location of the consumer, to print the value-added certificate, based on the updated feature of the account associate with the consumer, and 
 request, to an online media server, to retarget the digital content to a mobile or desktop device for the consumer upon redemption of the value-added certificate for the consumer. 
   
     
     
         12 . The system of  claim 11 , wherein to receive an updated feature of an account associated with a consumer, the one or more processors execute instructions to provide the pixel script in a targeted banner, a video advertisement, or an audio advertisement in the digital content displayed on the mobile or desktop device for the consumer. 
     
     
         13 . The system of  claim 11 , wherein the one or more processors further execute instructions to receive a request for accessing a consumer’s frequent shopper loyalty account from a consumer device at a point of sale in the retail store. 
     
     
         14 . The system of  claim 11 , wherein to request to print a personalized coupon for the consumer, the one or more processors execute instructions to command a printer communicatively coupled to the in-store media platform, to print a coupon for an account associated with the consumer. 
     
     
         15 . The system of  claim 11 , wherein the one or more processors further execute instructions to update an account associated with the consumer when the consumer redeems the value-added certificate, digital promotion, or a coupon associated with the consumer packaged good. 
     
     
         16 . The system of  claim 11 , wherein to receive an updated feature of an account associated with a consumer the one or more processors execute instructions to correlate an identifier for the mobile or desktop device for the consumer with a frequent shopper identification for the retail store. 
     
     
         17 . The system of  claim 11 , wherein the one or more processors further execute instructions to instruct a retail server to update the account associated with the consumer upon redemption of the value-added certificate. 
     
     
         18 . The system of  claim 11 , wherein the one or more processors further execute instructions to request, to the online media server, to target a new digital content associated with a different product available at the retail store to the mobile or desktop device for the consumer upon redemption of the value-added certificate. 
     
     
         19 . The system of  claim 11 , wherein the one or more processors further execute instructions to request the online media server to provide the digital content to the consumer upon correlating a mobile identifier for a consumer mobile device within the retail store with a frequent shopper identifier for a retail chain prior to receiving the updated feature of an account associated with the consumer. 
     
     
         20 . The system of  claim 11 , wherein to instruct to print the value-added certificate the one or more processors execute instructions to provide a scanning barcode to the mobile device for scanning at a point-of-sale of the retail store, to redeem the value-added certificate.
