Bed system

Abstract

According to an embodiment, a bed system includes a plurality of bed devices and a first input/output device capable of communicating with the plurality of bed devices. The first input/output device implements a first operation. During the first operation, the first input/output device receives input of a first set value relating to a first item set in each of the plurality of bed devices. At least one of the first input/output device and the plurality of bed devices implements an operation corresponding to the first set value. Thus, a bed system having improved usability is provided.

1 . A system comprising:
 a plurality of beds including a first bed and a second bed;   a plurality of bedside devices including a first bedside device, the first bedside device being provided around the first bed; and   wherein the first bedside device is configured to display both a first information for a user of the first bed and a first button indicating transferring, and   if a caregiver of the user logs in in the first bedside device after receiving an input of the first button from the user, the first bedside device displays a setting changed status.   
     
     
         2 . The system according to the  claim 1 , wherein
 the first bedside device is configured to display the first information of the user if the first bedside device receives an input indicating the user transfers from the first bed to the second bed.   
     
     
         3 . The system according to the  claim 1 , wherein
 the first bedside device is configured to display the first information of the user if the first bedside device receives an input indicating the user transfers from the first bed to the second bed after the caregiver of the user logs in in the first bedside device.   
     
     
         4 . The system according to the  claim 1 , wherein
 the first bedside device is configured to cancel the setting changed status if the first bedside device receives an input indicating the user transfers from the first bed to the second bed.   
     
     
         5 . The system according to the  claim 1 , wherein
 one of the bedside devices is capable of setting a first value of a first item and a second value of the second item, the first item being different from the second item; and   the system further comprising:
 a central device capable of communicating with the a plurality of bedside devices, the central device being capable of performing a first operation, the central device being capable of receiving a first instruction to determine the first value is changed to a third value, the central device being not capable of receiving a second instruction to determine the second value is changed to a fourth value. 
   
     
     
         6 . The system according to  claim 5 ,
 wherein the central device including a first mode and a second mode, the central device is not capable of receiving the second instruction in the first mode, and the central device is capable of receiving the second instruction in the second mode.   
     
     
         7 . The system according to  claim 6 ,
 wherein the central device performs the first operation using the fourth value if the first bedside device received approval of using the fourth value and the second device is in the second mode.   
     
     
         8 . A method for a system having a plurality of beds including a first bed and a second bed, and a plurality of bedside devices including a first bedside device, the first bedside device being provided around the first bed, the method comprising:
 displaying, on the first bedside device, both a first information for a user of the first bed and a first button indicating transferring; and   displaying a setting changed status on the first bedside device when a caregiver of the user logs in in the first bedside device after receiving an input of the first button from the user.   
     
     
         9 . The method according to the  claim 8 , further comprising:
 displaying the first information of the user on the first bedside device when the first bedside device receives an input indicating the user transfers from the first bed to the second bed.   
     
     
         10 . The method according to the  claim 8 , further comprising:
 displaying the first information of the user on the first bedside device when the first bedside device receives an input indicating the user transfers from the first bed to the second bed after the caregiver of the user logs in in the first bedside device.   
     
     
         11 . The method according to the  claim 8 , wherein
 the first bedside device cancels the setting changed status when the first bedside device receives an input indicating the user transfers from the first bed to the second bed.   
     
     
         12 . The method according to the  claim 8 , further comprising:
 setting a first value of a first item and a second value of a second item on one of the bedside devices, the first item being different from the second item;
 communicating the plurality of bedside devices with a central device capable of performing a first operation; and 
   sending a first instruction to the central device to determine the first value is changed to a third value, wherein the central device is not capable of receiving a second instruction to determine the second value is changed to a fourth value.   
     
     
         13 . The method according to  claim 12 ,
 wherein the central device includes a first mode and a second mode, the central device is not capable of receiving the second instruction in the first mode, and the central device is capable of receiving the second instruction in the second mode.   
     
     
         14 . The method according to  claim 13 ,
 wherein the central device performs the first operation using the fourth value when the first bedside device received approval of using the fourth value and the second device is in the second mode.
