Abstract
Disclosed is a networked array of radar enclosures that can be arranged to cover a desired geographical location. The array can detect moving objects in the coverage area. When warranted, elements of the array can also control the movement of associated objects, for example, friendly drones. The present invention also combines attributes that facilitate the less conspicuous detection and monitoring of moving objects, with the capability of distinguishing types of moving objects.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A radar system capable of providing coordinated detection in real or near real time, with such system comprising:
at least one radar element; a main control computer electronically connected to such at least one radar element, wherein such main control computer initiates actions to address any concerns regarding an unassociated moving object; at least one associated drone that is associated with the system and controlled via at least one signal transmitted from such main control computer to such drone; and means associated with such main control computer of identifying objects, wherein such mean distinguishes such at least one associated drone from such unassociated moving object.
2 . The system in claim 1 wherein such at least one associated drone has a camera that captures images of such unassociated moving objects, wherein such images are transmitted to such main control computer, and wherein such main control computer identifies such unassociated moving objects.
3 . The system in claim 1 further comprising at least one additional radar element functioning as an array with such at least one radar element,
wherein such array of radar elements transmits information to such main control computer, and
wherein such main control computer identifies such unassociated moving objects.
4 . The system of claim 1 further comprising a docking element to which such at least one associated drone can dock,
wherein such docking element is physically and electronically attached to at least one radar element,
wherein such docking element includes at least one docking pad with at least one communication element, and
wherein such communications element receives at least one signal from such at least one associated drone and transmits at least one signal to such at least one associated drone.
5 . The system of claim 1 wherein such at least one radar element is physically and electronically attached to such at least one associated drone.
6 . The system of claim 1 further comprising at least one camera element physically and electronically attached to such at least one associated drone.
7 . The system of claim 5 further comprising at least one camera element physically and electronically attached to such at least one associated drone.
8 . The system of claim 1 further comprising at least one ground-mounted asset that can be directed to move to such unassociated moving object.
9 . The system of claim 8 wherein such at least one ground-mounted asset is mobile security personnel.
10 . The system of claim 1 further comprising at least one ground-mounted asset that can be directed to look at the location of such unassociated moving object.
11 . The system of claim 10 wherein such at least one ground-mounted asset is a high-powered camera.Cited by (0)
