Abstract
The present invention is directed to compositions for and methods for the treatment of presbyopia comprising from about 0.3% to about 2.0% w/v aceclidine and from about 0.07% to about 0.15% w/v brimonidine.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
. A method of treating presbyopia comprising administering a composition comprising from about 1% to about 2% w/v aceclidine or a salt thereof and from 0.07% to about 0.15% brimonidine or a salt thereof to a subject in need thereof.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein said aceclidine is at a concentration from about 1.5% to about 2% w/v.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein said brimonidine is at a concentration from 0.07% to about 0.09% w/v.
. The method of claim 3 , wherein said aceclidine is at a concentration from about 1.5% to about 2% w/v.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein said brimonidine is at a concentration of 0.08% w/v.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein a pH of said composition is between about 4.5 and about 6.5.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein a pH of said composition is between about 5.0 and about 5.75.
. The method of claim 2 , wherein a pH of said composition is between about 4.5 and about 6.5.
. The method of claim 3 , wherein a pH of said composition is between about 4.5 and about 6.5.
. The method of claim 4 , wherein a pH of said composition is between about 4.5 and about 6.5.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein said subject experiences no rebound redness.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein said subject experiences no tachyphylaxis.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein said subject experiences an effect of said treatment of presbyopia for a duration of at least 4 hours.
. A method of treating presbyopia comprising administering a composition comprising about 1.75% aceclidine or a salt thereof and about 0.08% w/v brimonidine or a salt thereof to a subject in need thereof.
. The method of claim 14 , wherein said composition has a pH of about 4.5 to about 6.5.
. The method of claim 14 , wherein said subject experiences no tachyphylaxis.
. The method of claim 14 , wherein said subject experiences an effect of said treatment of presbyopia for a duration of at least 4 hours.Cited by (0)
