Abstract
Provided are methods and systems comprising receiving a data set comprising a plurality of records having a plurality of fields, displaying a plurality of graphical objects representing the plurality of records, receiving a selection of one or more of the plurality of fields, determining, based on the selected one or more of the plurality of fields, a similarity score between each of the records of the plurality of records, and adjusting, based on the similarity scores, the plurality of graphical objects.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method comprising:
receiving, by a computing device, a plurality of records comprising a plurality of fields; causing, at a user interface, a plurality of graphical objects representing the plurality of records to be output, wherein each graphical object of the plurality of graphical objects is associated with a display position; receiving, via the user interface, a selection indicative of one or more fields of the plurality of fields; determining, based on the selection, one or more vectors of similarities associated with the one or more fields; determining, based on the one or more vectors of similarities, an adjustment to the display position for one or more graphical objects of the plurality of graphical objects; and causing, based on the adjustment to the display position for the one or more graphical objects, at least the one or more graphical objects, of the plurality of graphical objects, to be repositioned at the user interface.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein each of the one or more vectors of similarities is associated with a field, of the one or more fields, and comprises a similarity score based on that field.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein determining the one or more vectors of similarities comprises: determining, for each pair of records of the plurality of records and for each field of the one or more fields, the one or more vectors of similarities.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein each field of the plurality of fields comprises a field type of a plurality of field types, and wherein the plurality of field types comprises one or more of numeric, categorical, date, time, or geolocation.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more graphical objects are associated with a subset of records of the plurality of records, and wherein the subset of records is associated with the one or more fields indicated by the selection.
6 . The method of claim 5 , further comprising: generating, based on the subset of records, a data model.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein causing at least the one or more graphical objects, of the plurality of graphical objects, to be repositioned at the user interface comprises: causing at least the one or more graphical objects to be repositioned closer or further apart at the user interface with respect to remaining graphical objects of the plurality of graphical objects.
8 . An apparatus comprising:
one or more processors; and memory storing processor-executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to: receive a plurality of records comprising a plurality of fields; cause, at a user interface, a plurality of graphical objects representing the plurality of records to be output, wherein each graphical object of the plurality of graphical objects is associated with a display position; receive, via the user interface, a selection indicative of one or more fields of the plurality of fields; determine, based on the selection, one or more vectors of similarities associated with the one or more fields; determine, based on the one or more vectors of similarities, an adjustment to the display position for one or more graphical objects of the plurality of graphical objects; and cause, based on the adjustment to the display position for the one or more graphical objects, at least the one or more graphical objects, of the plurality of graphical objects, to be repositioned at the user interface.
9 . The apparatus of claim 8 , wherein each of the one or more vectors of similarities is associated with a field, of the one or more fields, and comprises a similarity score based on that field.
10 . The apparatus of claim 8 , wherein the processor-executable instructions that cause the apparatus to determine the one or more vectors of similarities further cause the apparatus to: determine, for each pair of records of the plurality of records and for each field of the one or more fields, the one or more vectors of similarities.
11 . The apparatus of claim 8 , wherein each field of the plurality of fields comprises a field type of a plurality of field types, and wherein the plurality of field types comprises one or more of numeric, categorical, date, time, or geolocation.
12 . The apparatus of claim 8 , wherein the one or more graphical objects are associated with a subset of records of the plurality of records, and wherein the subset of records is associated with the one or more fields indicated by the selection.
13 . The apparatus of claim 12 , wherein the processor-executable instructions further cause the apparatus to generate, based on the subset of records, a data model.
14 . The apparatus of claim 8 , wherein the processor-executable instructions that cause the apparatus to cause at least the one or more graphical objects, of the plurality of graphical objects, to be repositioned at the user interface further cause the apparatus to cause at least the one or more graphical objects to be repositioned closer or further apart at the user interface with respect to remaining graphical objects of the plurality of graphical objects.
15 . One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing processor-executable instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of at least one computing device, cause the at least one computing device to:
receive a plurality of records comprising a plurality of fields; cause, at a user interface, a plurality of graphical objects representing the plurality of records to be output, wherein each graphical object of the plurality of graphical objects is associated with a display position; receive, via the user interface, a selection indicative of one or more fields of the plurality of fields; determine, based on the selection, one or more vectors of similarities associated with the one or more fields; determine, based on the one or more vectors of similarities, an adjustment to the display position for one or more graphical objects of the plurality of graphical objects; and cause, based on the adjustment to the display position for the one or more graphical objects, at least the one or more graphical objects, of the plurality of graphical objects, to be repositioned at the user interface.
16 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 15 , wherein each of the one or more vectors of similarities is associated with a field, of the one or more fields, and comprises a similarity score based on that field.
17 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 15 , wherein the processor-executable instructions that cause the at least one computing device to determine the one or more vectors of similarities further cause the at least one computing device to: determine, for each pair of records of the plurality of records and for each field of the one or more fields, the one or more vectors of similarities.
18 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 15 , wherein each field of the plurality of fields comprises a field type of a plurality of field types, and wherein the plurality of field types comprises one or more of numeric, categorical, date, time, or geolocation.
19 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 15 , wherein the one or more graphical objects are associated with a subset of records of the plurality of records, and wherein the subset of records is associated with the one or more fields indicated by the selection.
20 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 19 , wherein the processor-executable instructions further cause the at least one computing device to generate, based on the subset of records, a data model.Cited by (0)
