Abstract
Some embodiments include a fantasy sports game. In some embodiments, an expected performance value may be determined. In some embodiments, a same player may appear multiple times in a team. Various other embodiments are described.

2 . An apparatus, comprising:
a processor configured to: receive, over a communication network, from a first remote device, an indication of a first fantasy team for a sport, in which the first fantasy team includes a first plurality of members that each correspond to a respective player of the sport; receive, over the communication network, from a second remote device different than the first remote device, an indication of a second fantasy team for the sport, in which the second fantasy team includes a second plurality of members that each correspond to a respective player of the sport; receive, over the communication network, from a third remote device, statistics data related to each of the respective players of the sport; determine, based on the statistics data, expected performance values for the first fantasy team and the second fantasy team, respectively; cause, over the communication network, at an external computing device, display of an indication of an available wager for the first fantasy team, in which the indication indicates the expected performance value for the first fantasy team; receive, over the communication network, from at least the first remote device, an indication of a wager involving the first fantasy team and the second fantasy team; determine an outcome of the wager; and transmit, over the communication network, to the at least the first remote device, an indication of a payout amount based on the outcome of the wager.
3 . The apparatus of claim 2 , in which the statistics data includes a statistic related to past performance of the respective player in the sport.
4 . The apparatus of claim 2 , in which at least one of the second plurality of members corresponds to the same first player of the sport.
5 . The apparatus of claim 2 , in which the wager includes a wager that the first fantasy team will outperform the second fantasy team over a period of time.
6 . The apparatus of claim 2 , in which determining the outcome of the wager includes determining the outcome based on events in one or more games involving the respective players.
7 . The apparatus of claim 6 , in which the processor is configured to receive an indication of performance of one or more players in the one or more games.
8 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the indication of the respective fantasy teams includes an indication of a position for one or more of the members of the respective fantasy team.
9 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the indication of the respective fantasy teams includes an indication of a selection of members of the respective fantasy team.
10 . The apparatus of claim 2 , in which transmitting the indication of the payout amount includes displaying a payment in a display.
11 . A method comprising:
controlling, by at least one processor: receiving, over a communication network from a first remote device of a first player, an indication of a first fantasy team, in which the first fantasy team includes a first plurality of members that each correspond to a respective player of a sport; receiving, over the communication network from a second remote device of a second player, an indication of a second fantasy team, in which the second fantasy team includes a second plurality of members that each correspond to a respective player of a sport; receiving, over the communication network from a third remote device, statistics data related to each of the respective players of the sport; determining, based on the statistics data, expected performance values for the first fantasy team and the second fantasy team, respectively; causing, over the communication network, display of an indication of an available wager for the first fantasy team, in which the indication indicates the expected performance value for the first fantasy team; receiving, over the communication network from at least the first remote device, an indication of a wager involving the first fantasy team and the second fantasy teams; determining an outcome of the wager; and transmitting, over the communication network, to at the least the first remote device, an indication of a payout amount based on the outcome of the wager.
12 . The method of claim 11 , in which the statistics data includes a statistic related to past performance of the respective players in the sport.
13 . The method of claim 11 , in which at least one of the second plurality of members corresponds to the same first player of the sport.
14 . The method of claim 11 , in which the wager includes a wager that the first fantasy team will outperform the second fantasy team over a period of time.
15 . The method of claim 11 , in which determining the outcome of the wager includes determining the outcome based on events in one or more games involving the respective players.
16 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising controlling, by the at least one processor, receiving, over the communication network, an indication of performance of one or more players in the one or more games.
17 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the indication of the respective fantasy teams includes an indication of a position for one or more of the members of the respective fantasy team.
18 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the indication of the respective fantasy teams includes an indication of a selection of members of the respective fantasy team.
