Abstract

A beer manufacturing apparatus includes a chamber, a coupler installed in the chamber and including a wort line and an air line, and a flow path unit connecting the wort line to the air line. The apparatus further includes a sterilization and washing cap coupled to the coupler to form a closed flow path with the flow path unit, a sterilization and washing filter bottle connected to the flow path unit and containing sterilization and washing water therein, a pump connected to the flow path unit, and a controller controlling an operation of the pump to circulate the sterilization and washing water contained in the sterilization and washing filter bottom in the closed flow path.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A beer manufacturing method comprising:
a flow path sterilization and washing operation of sterilizing and washing a flow path unit configured to sterilize and wash a flow path unit configured to connect the wort line of a coupler fixedly installed in a chamber to the air line of the coupler; a keg mounting operation of connecting an internal part of the keg containing wort therein to the sterilized and washed flow path unit by coupling a keg cap of the keg containing the wort therein to the coupler; an yeast supplying operation of supplying yeast for fermenting the wort contained in the keg mounted in the chamber; a primary fermentation operation of discharging gas generated while the wort contained in the keg is fermented to the outside by opening a gas exhaust installed in the flow path unit; and a secondary fermentation operation of naturally carbonizing the primarily fermented wort using gas generated while the wort contained in the keg is fermented by closing the gas exhaust.

2 . The beer manufacturing method of claim 1 , wherein the flow path sterilization and washing operation includes:
a sterilization and washing cap coupling and sterilization and washing filter bottle mounting operation of coupling a sterilization and washing cap to the coupler to form the flow path unit as a closed flow path and connecting the sterilization and washing filter bottle to the flow path unit; a sterilization and washing water circulating operation of circulating the sterilization and washing water, contained in the sterilization and washing filter bottle, in the flow path unit formed as a closed flow path for a predetermined time by operating the pump connected to the flow path unit; a sterilization and washing water collecting operation of collecting the circulated sterilization and washing water to the sterilization and washing filter bottle by operating the pump in an opposite direction; and a sterilization and washing cap decoupling and sterilization and washing filter bottle unmounting operation of decoupling the sterilization and washing cap coupled to the coupler and unmounting the sterilization and washing filter bottle connected to the flow path unit.

3 . The beer manufacturing method of claim 1 , further comprising a smart infusing operation of infusing flavor and aroma into the wort contained in the keg,
wherein the smart infusing operation includes: a smart infusing filter bottle mounting operation of connecting a smart infusing filter bottle to the flow path unit; and an infusing operation of infusing a material contained in the smart infusing filter bottle into the wort contained in the keg by operating the pump connected to the flow path unit.

4 . The beer manufacturing method of claim 3 , wherein the infusing operation includes:
a wort circulating operation of circulating the wort contained in the keg in the flow path unit for a predetermined time by operating the pump; and a wort collecting operation of collecting the circulated wort into the keg by operating the pump in an opposite direction.

5 . The beer manufacturing method of claim 3 , wherein the infusing operation includes:
a wort introducing operation of introducing the wort contained in the keg into the smart infusing filter bottle by operating the pump; a wort immersing operation of maintaining a state in which the wort is immersed in a material contained in the smart infusing filter bottle for a predetermined time by stopping an operation of the pump when the wort is filled in the smart infusing filter bottle; and a wort collecting operation of collecting the wort immersed in the material contained in the smart infusing filter bottle into the keg by operating the pump in an opposite direction, wherein the infusing operation is performed by sequentially repeating the wort introducing operation, the wort immersing operation, and the wort collecting operation.

6 . The beer manufacturing method of claim 3 , wherein the infusing operation is performed in the middle of the primary fermentation operation and is performed just before the secondary fermentation operation from a predetermined time before the secondary fermentation operation begins.

7 . The beer manufacturing method of claim 1 , wherein the secondary fermentation operation includes maintaining a carbonation degree of the fermented wort within a preset pressure range by opening the gas exhaust when an internal pressure of the keg reaches a preset upper limit and closing the gas exhaust when the internal pressure of the keg reaches a preset lower limit.
