Presenting a personalized value added offer during an advanced verification process
Abstract
Systems and methods for presenting a personalized value added offer during an advanced verification process are provided. An access control server may receive an enrollment verification request comprising data relating to an account holder. The server may determine an enrollment status of the account holder and determine a value added offer based on the account holder. The server may display an advanced verification interface for user input. The advanced verification interface may include the value added offer and/or a security credential prompt. The server may personalize the advanced verification interface and/or the value added offer based on monitoring the system and compiling historical transaction data.

6 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the security credential comprises at least one of a password, a biometric, an audio input, or a radio frequency identifier (RFID).
7 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the attempt to settle the transaction is based on a notification from a merchant device to a user device that indicates the information associated with the transaction.
8 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the notification causes the user device to transition from a first state to a second state.
9 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by at least one computing device, cause the at least one computing device to perform operations comprising:
displaying, based at least in part on an attempt to settle a transaction, a request for a security credential associated with an account; displaying, based on submission of the security credential and the account indicating that an amount of accepted offers to modify previous settlement information satisfies an offer acceptance threshold, an offer to modify the settlement information; and receiving, based on an acceptance of the offer to modify the settlement information, an indication that the transaction is settled according to the modified settlement information.
10 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the acceptance of the offer to modify the settlement information causes data associated with the account to be modified based on at least one of: an account credit, an amount of rewards points, or a purchase protection plan.
11 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the transaction comprises a transaction with a merchant device.
12 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein a type of the offer to modify the settlement information is based on historical transaction information that indicates at least one of: a response to an offer to modify different settlement information, a recent purchase transaction, or a selection of a previous offer to modify different settlement information.
13 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the security credential comprises at least one of a password, a biometric, an audio input, or a radio frequency identifier (RFID).
14 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the attempt to settle the transaction is based on a notification from a merchant device to a user device that indicates the information associated with the transaction.
15 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the notification causes the user device to transition from a first state to a second state.
16 . A computer system, comprising:
a memory; and at least one processor coupled to the memory and configured to perform operations comprising:
displaying, based at least in part on an attempt to settle a transaction, a request for a security credential associated with an account;
displaying, based on submission of the security credential and the account indicating that an amount of accepted offers to modify previous settlement information satisfies an offer acceptance threshold, an offer to modify the settlement information; and
receiving, based on an acceptance of the offer to modify the settlement information, an indication that the transaction is settled according to the modified settlement information.
17 . The system of claim 16 , wherein the acceptance of the offer to modify the settlement information causes data associated with the account to be modified based on at least one of: an account credit, an amount of rewards points, or a purchase protection plan.
18 . The system of claim 16 , wherein the transaction comprises a transaction with a merchant device.
19 . The system of claim 16 , wherein a type of the offer to modify the settlement information is based on historical transaction information that indicates at least one of: a response to an offer to modify different settlement information, a recent purchase transaction, or a selection of a previous offer to modify different settlement information.
20 . The system of claim 16 , wherein the security credential comprises at least one of a password, a biometric, an audio input, or a radio frequency identifier (RFID).
21 . The system of claim 16 , wherein the attempt to settle the transaction is based on a notification from a merchant device to a user device that indicates the information associated with the transaction.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
