Removable Bib Configured to Attach to a Shoulder Region of a User
Abstract
Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing a bib, and, in particular embodiments, to methods, systems, and apparatuses for implementing a bib configured to attach to a shoulder region of a user. In various embodiments, a bib might include a body comprising a partial opening configured to fit under a chin of a user; a first attachment end connected to the body on a first side of the partial opening; a second attachment end connected to the body on a second side opposite the first side of the partial opening; a first fastener attached to the first attachment end and configured to attach to a first shoulder region of a garment of the user; and a second fastener attached to the second attachment end and configured to attach to a second shoulder region opposite the first shoulder region of the garment of the user.

1 . A bib kit, comprising:
a bib comprising:
a body comprising a partial opening configured to fit under a chin of a user;
a first attachment end connected to the body on a first side of the partial opening; and
a second attachment end connected to the body on a second side opposite the first side of the partial opening;
a first fastener attached to the first attachment end and configured to attach to a first shoulder region of a garment of the user; and
a second fastener attached to the second attachment end and configured to attach to a second shoulder region opposite the first shoulder region of the garment of the user; and
the garment, the garment comprising:
a first attachment mechanism in the first shoulder region of the garment; and
a second attachment mechanism in the second shoulder region of the garment,
wherein the first attachment mechanism is configured to attach to the first fastener and hold the first attachment end of the bib in place and the second attachment mechanism is configured to attach to the second fastener and hold the second attachment end of the bib in place on the garment.
2 . The bib kit of claim 1 , wherein the body is formed from at least one of fabric, plastic, vinyl, or rubber.
3 . The bib kit of claim 1 , wherein the first shoulder region is a first front shoulder region and the second shoulder region is a second front shoulder region.
4 . The bib kit of claim 1 , wherein the first fastener is a first magnet and the second fastener is a second magnet.
5 . The bib kit of claim 4 , wherein the first attachment mechanism is a third magnet or a first piece of magnetic metal in the first shoulder region and the second attachment mechanism is a fourth magnet or a second piece of magnetic metal in the second shoulder region, and wherein the first magnet releasably attaches to the third magnet or the first piece of magnetic metal in the first shoulder region and the second magnet releasably attaches to the fourth magnet or the second piece of magnetic metal in the second shoulder region.

The bib kit of claim 5 , wherein the first magnet is sewn into the first attachment end, the second magnet is sewn into the second attachment end, the third magnet or first magnetic piece of material is sewn into the first shoulder region of the garment, and the fourth magnet or second magnetic piece of metal is sewn into the second shoulder region of the garment.
7 . The bib kit of claim 6 , wherein the first shoulder region is a first front shoulder region and the second shoulder region is a second front shoulder region.
8 . The bib kit of claim 1 , wherein the first fastener is a first piece of magnetic metal and the second fastener is a second piece of magnetic metal.
9 . The bib kit of claim 8 , wherein the first attachment mechanism is a first magnet in the first shoulder region and the second attachment mechanism is a second magnet in the second shoulder region, and wherein the first piece of magnetic metal releasably attaches to the first magnet in the first shoulder region and the second piece of magnetic metal releasably attaches to the second magnet in the second shoulder region.
10 . The bib kit of claim 9 , wherein the first magnetic piece of metal is sewn into the first attachment end, the second magnetic piece of material is sewn into the second attachment end, the first magnet is sewn into the first shoulder region of the garment, and the second magnet or second magnetic piece of metal is sewn into the second shoulder region of the garment.
11 . The bib kit of claim 10 , wherein the first shoulder region is a first front shoulder region and the second shoulder region is a second front shoulder region.
12 . The bib kit of claim 1 , wherein the garment comprises at least one of a baby garment, a child garment, an adult garment, a shirt, a dress, a onesie, a unitard, overalls, suspenders, a robe, or a hospital gown.
13 . The bib kit of claim 1 , wherein the garment comprises one or more flaps configured to fold down and cover the first attachment end and the second attachment end.
14 . A bib kit, comprising:
a bib comprising:
a body comprising a partial opening configured to fit under a chin of a user;
a first attachment end connected to the body on a first side of the partial opening and having a first fastener; and
a second attachment end connected to the body on a second side opposite the first side of the partial opening and having a second fastener; and
a garment, the garment comprising:
a first attachment mechanism in a first shoulder region of the garment; and
a second attachment mechanism in a second shoulder region of the garment,
wherein the first attachment mechanism is configured to attach to the first fastener and the second attachment mechanism is configured to attach to the second fastener.
15 . The bib kit of claim 14 , wherein the first fastener is a first magnet and the second fastener is a second magnet.
16 . The bib kit of claim 15 , wherein the first attachment mechanism is a third magnet or a first piece of magnetic metal in the first shoulder region and the second attachment mechanism is a fourth magnet or a second piece of magnetic metal in the second shoulder region, and wherein the first magnet releasably attaches to the third magnet or the first piece of magnetic metal in the first shoulder region and the second magnet releasably attaches to the fourth magnet or the second piece of magnetic metal in the second shoulder region.
17 . The bib kit of claim 16 , wherein the first magnet is sewn into the first attachment end, the second magnet is sewn into the second attachment end, the third magnet or first magnetic piece of material is sewn into the first shoulder region of the garment, and the fourth magnet or second magnetic piece of metal is sewn into the second shoulder region of the garment.
18 . The bib kit of claim 17 , wherein the first shoulder region is a first front shoulder region and the second shoulder region is a second front shoulder region.
19 . The bib kit of claim 14 , wherein the first fastener is a first piece of magnetic metal and the second fastener is a second piece of magnetic metal.
20 . The bib kit of claim 19 , wherein the first attachment mechanism is a first magnet in the first shoulder region and the second attachment mechanism is a second magnet in the second shoulder region, and wherein the first piece of magnetic metal releasably attaches to the first magnet in the first shoulder region and the second piece of magnetic metal releasably attaches to the second magnet in the second shoulder region.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
